"Well the night is still young and the sea is calling me. Catch you later Karloff" Count Varney comments to his old friend, he hummed to himself when thoughts of Crowley's young Familiar plagued his mind. "You know? I understood how she felt"
Lord Karloff tilts his head with intrigue. "Who?"
"The Lady & The Forbidden Fruit. I can imagine the rational part of her brain saying it's wrong but the temptation was too strong. Who can blame her for wanting a taste"
Lord Karloff placed a hand on Varney's shoulder, "I can understand the temptation. The way his blood was flowing, that budding dark presence. And just imagine how sweet it would taste. However. He does belong to Crowley. And one doesn't harm a Familiar without the Lord's permission. And besides, there are plenty of others like the young man out there to please that sweet tooth of yours isn't there?"
Count Varney chuckled, "Always know when to make a convincing argument Mate. I'll keep that in mind" he glanced at the Lord Ruler and gave a nod of respect before leaving the room.

Varney is going to be such a fun and scary super threat moving forward but on the bright side he's at least an interesting and entertaining one! Feel bad for Han with all of the unfortunate attention he's getting but the good news is that things will, eventually, work out for him for the better and it helps that the others are going to be working on a way to free and save him. The world of the Vampires is a deep, dark and scary one but there are those who are shining lights among the crushing darkness. |

Virgil Caine coldly studied the others from a distance, particularly focusing his attention on Baron and Vlad, before he finally turned to the Lord Ruler, took a bow, and gracefully exited the meeting. (Can never get a read on that guy.) Baron noted before he turned his attention to Vlad. "Hey there!" He greeted him. "I'm Vladmire. From The Graveblade's. How you holding up?" "Can't complain." Baron admitted. "One thing you can always count on about these meetings is that they're never boring. How about you? First time here?" "Yeah. I have to admit it was rather overwhelming at first but ironically enough that Clown-Mage fiasco actually lightened the mood a lot. I was able to relax after that but...holy crap, I didn't think Carmella was that fast." "It's one thing to hear the stories about Carmy. It's another to see her in action. But hey, you made it through your first meeting well enough and it'll only get easier from here..just remember that not all Council Meetings are going to be this easy. They can get rather intense." Baron informed him. Carmella couldn't help but swell with pride overhearing their conversation. "I'll be sure keep that in mind, Baron, thanks." |

Maybe it's because she's in the presence of an older vampire and maybe it's because she don't often get compliments from older vampires. She couldn't decide which is which but her complexion went pink real fast. "The atmosphere was getting hostile and I didn't want The Lord Ruler to be in danger."
Lilith gave the young vampire the privacy she needed to chat with Rosamond. This was Carmella's moment and she did the house proud tonight. Which is something she'd most certainly throw at Sigruna's face when she and Darius is done with their mission.
She smiled and held back a laugh, (Oh I'm confident Loretto would've taken that fool.)

And she doesn't give Toki the full details as the last thing she want is for Toki and her mom to be a target to vampires. Yet after tonight she opt to set the blocks in motion. She puts her phone away and joins the conversation. “The meetings can get intimidating but it’s a learning experience. We are the next generation after all” |

Han entered his home after Lord Crowley dropped him off. The moment he entered his home it was as if a fog had lifted within his mind. ARIA already closed the door behind him allowing Han to press his back against it and slid down. Feeling as if he just waken from an intense dream as he started to rub his eyes. |

"IDK if she qualifies but I know who I have my sights on" Baron commented regarding Carmella, ignoring the knowing grinn that Malty provided, (I don't blame you, Big Bro but tread lightly. Surprise hug! Alright! Thanks, Toki! It was a lot of fun. You know, I met a lot of new and wild people. How's Hinansho been since I was gone?" "Relatively quiet really." Toki informed him as they parted. She paused to grab up a box and then she stepped inside as the door closed behind them. "Chidori apparently got into a spat with some girl from that Hell Butterflies Club or whatever they are but thankfully nothing came from it. Also, Miss Suko showed off some new recipes at The Queen's Rose. I got some of it to go because I didn't want you to feel left out." Toki chattered away quickly and held out the box to Han. "Hey best of luck man. I'm rooting for you." Vlad cheerfully informed Baron. "You miss a hundred percent of the shots you don't take after all." |
