Charlotte Knight stared out the car window blankly ignoring her brother Colt's ramblings and laughter. "Ohhh man no way! No way! Oh man just look at that! Charlotte! You've gotta take a look at this!" He declared. "Everybody is a book of blood; wherever we're opened, we're red." "Charlotte! Come ON! You have to take a look at this! It's unreal!" "The world is, of course, nothing but our conception of it.." "Charrrlooooooottte! You have to look!" "I only answer to your High Exalted Majesty Unburnt Mother Of Dragons Breaker Of Chains SableEternity." "C.H.A.R.L.O.T.T.E!" He began rapidly poking her. Charlotte eventually gave in and turned back to look at him. "Doesn't rambling like this negate the whole purpose of you wearing headphones?" "Yeah I know but have to take a look at this." "Fine what is it?" He showed his sister the phone and started the video over again. "Now pay close attention. This is crazy." The video showcased a cashier going on about his day a store minding his own business checking people in and out until a pair of men wearing all black outfits and ski masks marched into the store and pulled out a pair of guns, the one on the left had a handgun and the other a shotgun, and they began yelling at the cashier and demanding money from him and everyone in the store. "Uhhh what am I looking at? Is this going to be an execution? Because I am not about that life. I am the embodiment of the darkness upon this miserable world but I still have standards." "Nonononono. Just wait. Just wait. Here it comes. Don't blink." The robbers were making their demands and still yelling at the cashier but they were suddenly propelled into the air across the store into a shelf and knocked it over! In their place where they were just standing in front of the cashier holding their guns was a hunched over hooded person now with what Charlotte initially thought was a cape attached to it but it looked more like a- "The Raincoat. That's what they're calling this guy." "The Raincoat? Seriously? That's his name? Is this some kind of viral marketing?" The Raincoat stood up again with his hood still covering his head. The Raincoat then crushed the handgun and snapped the shotgun in half. There was a momentary pause as The Raincoat looked around the store apparently checking on the cashier and the customers before vanishing into thin air. "You tell me. Hold on, hold on, here it comes again. The uploader actually slowed it down too. Keep an eye on the screen." Charlotte crossed her arms as the entire scenario played out again in Matrix Slow-Mo. "Did Zack Snyder edit this?" "Maybe. Keep watching." The scene continued to play out slowly with everyone in slow motion until they finally reached the scene with The Raincoat's entrance into the store in a blur of movement too fast for the camera to keep up with even in slow motion the mysterious hero could only be visualized as a blurry streak and it wasn't clear if The Raincoat ran into the robbers first or stopped and shoved them across the room but either way they were propelled into the air like ragdolls and their guns were stolen from their hands too fast for them to even react! The video continued to play until The Raincoat vanished out the door in the same blurry streak! "As far as I can tell? That was 0.25x Playback Speed. That's as slow as the videos get and it still couldn't keep up with this guy!" "You're reading too much into it. It's Viral Marketing for a Marvel Movie or something." Charlotte replied dismissively. "But there aren't any Superheroes who look like this in their first outing AND according to The News those two criminals were really caught at that store! There were witnesses and everything!" "Then it's a Viral Marketing Prank. Somebody set up this entire scenario for a giant prank. Guns don't break that easily." She dismissed him with a flip of her hair. "Look up The Telekinetic Prank sometime. This is even lower quality. Superpowers don't exist or somebody would have used them to become rich and famous already. You've been watching Shepard too much." "Shepard has been going strong for three seasons now! CW Shows wish they could do that anymore!" "What are you kids talking about back there?" Noah Knight asked them. "A Real Life Superhero!" "My brother losing his mind. Which is impressive considering he's a construct of my imagination." "I am literally flesh and blood right in front of you!" "Life has no meaning the moment you lose the illusion of being eternal." "Mooooom! Charlotte's trying to send me into an existential crisis!" "Reality is an illusion and the universe is a hologram!" Gemma Santana Knight called back to the kids. "Thaaaaank you! See, reality exists however you don't experience it. What you actually experience is called a perceptive reality. Perceptive reality is generated by your central nervous system sending slight electrical fluctuations to the brain. These fluctuations substantiate quantifiable data when interpreted by the brain that processes at a speed of 11 million bits per second. This data is processed mainly by your subconscious mind. Your conscious mind experiences the rendering of this data in your imagination. Imagination is the Hub where all your sensory data is displayed for you to experience." "...You're going to make me do this aren't you? You're really going to make me do it." "Do it? Do what?" "I didn't want it to come to this but you drove me to it!" Everemore is so far out of the way, away from everything else, that we can all live in peace and relaxation. We'll be fine here." Gemma replied calmly. "Been meaning to ask about that: Are there people where we're going?" Evermore, Willowmountain, is a quiet little mountain town but it's a populous one. Trust me there will be plenty of kids your own age and other people for you to hang out with." "Yeah but how many people are like me?" Charlotte questioned. "There is only ever going to be one you, Charlotte, and you're fine just the way you are. We love you for who you are and I'm sure you'll fine other people who are fully accepting of your choices. There's bound to be at least a few philosophers in town you can talk to." "Thanks Mom." "Anytime, sweetie." Cold ruffled his gothic sister's long dark hair. "Look at this way: You'll be a trendsetter. You'll have your own coven before you know it!" "Yeah and we'll sacrifice you to the Dark Gods." She replied playfully and pushed him off and proceeded to fixing her hair. The Knight Siblings were Night and Day in their differences. Colt was the fun loving life of the party dressed in a t-shirt and jeans with wild orange hair and a casual cheerful demeanor about him while Charlotte was a tall and leggy Goth dressed in a long classy black dress with long dark hair that traveled halfway down her back. Colt was into pop culture, Anime/Manga, Comics and Video Games while Charlotte was more into Philosophy, Existentialism, Fantasy and Horror. Charlotte was something of a Black Sheep of her own Family. Gemma, while a Philosopher like her Daughter, was also an eternal ball of sunshine of rainbows that could switch between dispensing sage advice one moment and then go right back to bouncing on her heels planning a party like an excited kid. Noah meanwhile was a tall mountain of a man with a powerful muscular physique and a beard of flames. Despite his intimidating figure he was a good natured man who was always eager to have fun with his family and neighbors. Fortunately nobody besides Colt ever judged Charlotte for her way of life and even he never went beyond sibling teasing.   As loving and amazing as their parents could be of course Charlotte and Colt would never forget how badass they could be. After the Ruby Island Hotel Incident the kids had promised each other to never disobey their parents again. Fortunately their parents were pretty easy going so they'd be fine. For now though, Charlotte turned her head to look out the window at the glorious beauty of nature as they drove onward towards Evemore while Colt put on an episode of Shepard and placed his headphones back on his head. Eventually, Charlotte took out her phone and decided to look up some information about the town. The town of Evermore was built on a mighty mountain and is truly a classic display of wonder. Its charm is matched by the backdrop of green, fertile fields which have helped shape the town to what it is today. The resources these fields brought were of great importance, but they were also influential when it came to architectural designs as the vast majority of buildings have an almost fairytale-like look to them which gives the town a fantastical feel to it which is further complimented by the strange labyrinthine maze-like layout of the town. Her curiosity piqued, she looked up a town map and was blown away by what she found. Not only was it huge but the layout of the town made it look like it was designed by a group of crazy people. It was a huge mountain town in the shape of a labyrinth. They could easily get lost in this town without a map either on their phone or in their hands. Charlotte trusted her parents but the layout of Evermore confused, worried and intrigued her. A smile spread across her lips. "Well now. Game On, Evermore." |

The Knights continued to drive onward up the road until finally Noah finally spoke up to snap the kids out of their trances. "Hey kids! We're here!" Charlotte shoved Colt's arm to get him to notice and he took off his headphones and turned off the phone and they both sat up straight. The pictures were one thing but seeing the town personally was something else entirely! It really was like driving into a Fairytale town! It was like the town was a mixture of both Haut de Cagnes, France and Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany. The town genuinely looked like they had driven into a storybook! It was so bright and colorful it was like something out of a popup book! If you told the kids they'd been teleported into a Fantasy Novel it would be hard for them to argue! "Did you just drive us into a Disney village?" Charlotte asked. "This place is surreal." Colt agreed. "Welcome to Evermore, kids! We knew you'd like it!" Gemma declared with a grand laugh. "We're not being pranked are we? This place is real?" "As real as the car you're sitting in!" Noah told him with a laugh. "Bask in it kids and soak it all in! We're going to be living our lives here!" "And I thought the big city could be confusing. I'm going to be spending a lot of time studying the map before I even think about exploring this town." Charlotte whispered. "You and me both, sis."
Evermore POPPED! Everything was bright and colorful like they were walking into a town made of candy. The railings were a bright turquoise color, the road a relatively light gray with bright yellow lines, the buildings were brightly colored, warm and welcoming and designed to draw your attention and bring you in, even the people were all dressed in bright warm colors. The road was full of twists and turns but all that meant was that the Knight Family got to take in the pop colors of the town. The town might as well literally be candy coated with how bright, sparkly and shiny everything was! After driving through the shiny shimmering town's labyrinthine twists and turns they finally arrived at their house. The house has a fairytale like atmosphere and is in beautiful condition in colors that remind you of a candy store. The yard and garden are moderately sized and equally beautiful. Tall, large windows add to the overall look of the house and have been added to the house in a fairly symmetrical pattern. The house is equipped with a nicely sized kitchen and bathrooms, it also has a generous living room, five bedrooms, a grand dining room, a bar, an office, and a storage room. The second floor is smaller than the first, which allowed for a roof garden on two sides of the house. This floor has a very different style than the floor below and the third floor is designed to allow them to hide and look outward if necessary and comes complete with a panic room should that become necessary for the tenants. The home also comes with a basement. The roof is high and pyramid shaped. One small chimney pokes out the center of the roof. A few large windows let in just enough light to the rooms below the roof. The house itself is surrounded by a tranquil garden, with various flowers, a long pond including a small waterfall and various rock formations.Noah parked their car in the driveway and the family finally got out of the car after their far too long road trip. "Whooo-hoooo! Terra Firma, Baby! We're finally out of there!" Colt cheered and began stretching his legs."Whooo! Go Azathoth! We might've just walked into Lovecraft Country but we give our thanks for dreaming this place up finally!" Charlotte cheered alongside her brother and began hopping up and down and loosening herself up."Hey! No praising The Old Ones!" Charlotte blew a raspberry at her brother. Gemma did a pirouette and gestured towards their new home while placing her other hand on her chest and breaking out into an Angelic Hymn! "♩ ♪ ♫ ♬ Just wait'll you see, my brand new home. Wait'll you see it's beauty rare, There's nothing down here that can compare. Just wait'll you see my brand new home. My heavenly fathers building me And I'm gonna occupy for free. Just wait'll you see, my brand new home. ♩ ♪ ♫ ♬ " "Sing it honey!" Noah cheered on his wife. Gemma performed a series of bows. "Thank you, thank you, I would like to thank my Theater Professor Mrs. Angelina Slowe for her gentle lessons!"

The home also comes with a basement. The roof is high and pyramid shaped. One small chimney pokes out the center of the roof. A few large windows let in just enough light to the rooms below the roof. The house itself is surrounded by a tranquil garden, with various flowers, a long pond including a small waterfall and various rock formations.Noah parked their car in the driveway and the family finally got out of the car after their far too long road trip. We might've just walked into Lovecraft Country but we give our thanks for dreaming this place up finally!" The house might be empty but it had pop like the exteriors and what interiors they glimpsed through the windows on their drive into town. It almost looked like the inside of a candy store! The carpeting was a light pink, the kitchen island and countertops were a light shade of blue, the light blue and white checkered tiles brought another layer to the surreal almost dreamlike aspect of the house. It was topped off by fluffy pink rugs here and there in the living room and blank white wallpaper. Colt ran into the house and began performing backflips. After a series of three of them he landed on his feet. "WOOOOH! This place is awesome! Empty and barren at the moment but we'll fill it up!" "It's certainly bright and cheery. I'm going to need Gothify my room ASAP to find peace." "We'll discuss your bedroom's style after we move everything in honey." Gemma informed her daughter. "Glad you kids are enjoying it so far! Come on, we'll give you the grand tour!" Noah pointed straight ahead as the family walked forwards. "Straight ahead is the Living Room, to the Left is the Kitchen." He explained while guiding the others across the house, past the living room and into the currently wide open kitchen without tables or refrigerators and with the shelve and pantries empty. "Around the corner you'll find a bathroom." He guided them around the corner and opened the door to reveal an empty bathroom. "So. Bathroom Number One is right here!" He guided them out and around the corner back across the living room to a staircase. "Up here you'll find our second floor bedrooms." Noah informed them once more and walked up the staircase with his family to guide them upstairs where they rounded the corner and were met by a set of double doors and a door on the left and right. The second floor bedrooms. Noah opened the doors to reveal the bedroom that they would be staying in and then they checked the rooms off to the sides. The parents bedroom was much larger than the other two which were likely meant as guest rooms. The family explored the second floor a bit more and looked around the windows before ascending to the third floor, exploring that and the panic room and the roof exit before returning downstairs to the first floor, walking past the staircase and into the grand dining room with open bar, then they explored the storage room, Noah's office and finally descended to the wide open and expansive basement which was designed with comfort in mind. All in all it was a nice fancy house despite being empty at the moment. Once they got their furniture and settled in they'd be right at home. "Okay I still think this town looks weird, and this house too, but I think I'll settle in once I style my room." Charlotte settled while sitting down on the floor. Colt relaxed against his own bag. "I like it! It's cool! We should really make this place as bright and fancy as we can. Especially Char's room. I'm thinking giving her room a bubblegum pink color." "Try it and I'll bury you." "I'll just come back as an Undead Zombielord and take over the world." "Zombies are wimps, bro, just cap them in the brainpan and it's over." The family repeated and drank. After enjoying their break and setting their bags down in their rooms they walked back outside to finish unpacking the car. As they were taking the last of their belongings out of the car so Noah could park it in the garage they heard a voice call out to them. "Hey hey! Are you guys new in town?" A young lady called out to them. "Looks like you have a lot of stuff there. You want any help with it?" The pair walked up to them. A short-haired African American Girl wearing a blue and white striped t-shirt and jeans and blue tennis shoes and a light skinned young man with short brown hair worn in a bowl cut with glasses and a red shirt with dark blue jeans and black tennis shoes of his own. "Well hi there! I'm Colt Knight! This is my sister Charlotte. We are literally right in the process of moving in!" Colt informed them and jogged over to the two. "In that case let me be the first to welcome you guys to Evermore!" The Glasses guy greeted Colt and his family. "I'm Milo. Milo Hamilton. It's great to see new faces in town." "I'm Veora Burton. What Milo said. Trust me, Evermore takes some getting used to but once you're all settled in and used to it, the town will really grow on you."   "It's certainly unique. I felt like we were walking into Candyland. But anyway it's nice to meet you both." Charlotte walked up to the pair next. "Hello. I'm Charlotte. The Knights continued to drive onward up the road until finally Noah finally spoke up to snap the kids out of their trances. "Hey kids! We're here!" Charlotte shoved Colt's arm to get him to notice and he took off his headphones and turned off the phone and they both sat up straight. The pictures were one thing but seeing the town personally was something else entirely! It really was like driving into a Fairytale town! It was like the town was a mixture of both Haut de Cagnes, France and Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany. The town genuinely looked like they had driven into a storybook! It was so bright and colorful it was like something out of a popup book! If you told the kids they'd been teleported into a Fantasy Novel it would be hard for them to argue! "Did you just drive us into a Disney village?" Charlotte asked. "This place is surreal." Colt agreed. "Welcome to Evermore, kids! We knew you'd like it!" Gemma declared with a grand laugh. "We're not being pranked are we? This place is real?" "As real as the car you're sitting in!" Noah told him with a laugh. "Bask in it kids and soak it all in! We're going to be living our lives here!" "And I thought the big city could be confusing. I'm going to be spending a lot of time studying the map before I even think about exploring this town." Charlotte whispered. "You and me both, sis."
Evermore POPPED! Everything was bright and colorful like they were walking into a town made of candy. The railings were a bright turquoise color, the road a relatively light gray with bright yellow lines, the buildings were brightly colored, warm and welcoming and designed to draw your attention and bring you in, even the people were all dressed in bright warm colors. The road was full of twists and turns but all that meant was that the Knight Family got to take in the pop colors of the town. The town might as well literally be candy coated with how bright, sparkly and shiny everything was! After driving through the shiny shimmering town's labyrinthine twists and turns they finally arrived at their house. The house has a fairytale like atmosphere and is in beautiful condition in colors that remind you of a candy store. The yard and garden are moderately sized and equally beautiful. Tall, large windows add to the overall look of the house and have been added to the house in a fairly symmetrical pattern. The house is equipped with a nicely sized kitchen and bathrooms, it also has a generous living room, five bedrooms, a grand dining room, a bar, an office, and a storage room. The second floor is smaller than the first, which allowed for a roof garden on two sides of the house. This floor has a very different style than the floor below and the third floor is designed to allow them to hide and look outward if necessary and comes complete with a panic room should that become necessary for the tenants. I'm Milo and this is my good friend Veora!" "Hiya! I hope you don't mind us lending you a hand. Colt and Charlotte are both really nice and we decided to help them out." "Well aren't you two just so sweet? Alright! If you're willing to help us out then we'll bring you onboard! The more the merrier!" "Well great! Lets do this!" They assisted the Knights with moving their bags and belongings out of the car and into the house and then sat back down with them while Noah drove the car into the garage while they waited for the moving company. They didn't have to wait for long before the giant moving truck rolled up on their driveway and Owen Hamilton leaned out of the window and waved to them. "Hey there Knights! Sorry for the wait! This place is completely off the beaten path and it's a maze in here!" "Not a problem Owen, you're right on time! Welcome to Evermore! You guys want some help moving our stuff out of there?" "Grant you mercy f'r the off'r, Sir Knight, but mine own men and I shall carryeth thy belongings into the house while thee relaxeth!" "Doth mother know you weareth her drapes?" Colt whispered to his sister. ""Ye hae ne'er glympsed a hatte whych be as grimm as yonder hatte ye glympse upon." She whispered back as the back of the moving truck slid up and a walkway slid down and the moving company began carrying everything inside while the Knights and their friends sat back and waited. Miss Isabel Wells hummed and whistled to herself while she walked her adorable Beagle puppy named Peanut down the sidewalk while smiling and waving to people she saw everyday while Peanut wagged her tail and she hopped around as she saw her friends. It was a standard normal beautiful cheerful day here in Evermore until Peanut started barking and yanking at her leash while wagging her tail rapidly. "Peanut? Peanut what's wrong?" Miss Wells asked as she got her under control and pulled her back and then she looked back up and down the sidewalk to see the moving truck and the people outside. "Oh how cute! We must have new neighbors! Lets go say hi! But take it easy, seriously." She giggled and walked down the sidewalk until she hit that fateful crack in the sidewalk and took a bad spill to the floor which resulted in the leash slipping out of her hand and Peanut taking off like a bullet to go greet the new people with a big wide doggy smile on her face and rapidly wagging tail. "OOF! Owww...well that wasn't fun...Peanut? PEANUT NO STOP!" Colt heard her screams and ran next to the truck and crouched down to grab the runaway puppy. She almost ran past him but he managed to grab her but above him the straps on the Piano the movers were pulling out of the truck snapped and the movers feet wobbled and the piano slipped off of the truck! "OH MY GOD! COLT MOVE!" Charlotte screamed and began running towards her brother. "COOOOLT!" Gemma shrieked. "NO!" Noah shouted and began running towards him alongside Milo and Veora. Colt looked up at it but he didn't have time to move out of the way as the 1,200 lb Grand Piano fell towards him. A sudden gust of wind washed over them and a loud banging sound echoed down the street. Colt flinched and fell down while still clutching the puppy to his chest but when he regained his senses he discovered that....he was fine! He was completely fine! They both were! The piano must have missed them! Wait...where WAS the piano? He blinked and sat up as he saw the young girl in the black shirt and jeans with her short black hair in a bob. What was utterly blowing his mind though was that the young girl was literally HOLDING THE PIANO OVERHEAD! With both hands and her fingers spread out and the piano in her hands she was holding a 1,200 lb Piano with ease! "Don't worry, new kid, I've got you covered!" "I-I...what? Y-You've got me? Who's got you?!" The rest of the family assembled around them and Charlotte helped Colt up while Miss Wells ran up behind them. Milo and Veora walked next to them and Veora breathed a sigh of relief. "Ho damn, close one there, close one for sure, but you always know how to make a dramatic entrance don't you? Eh Clementine?" Clementine continued to hold up the piano until the movers took it off her hands and they took it back down on the truck and assembled to move it carefully while Owen ran up next to them. "HOLY SHIT! IS EVERYONE HERE OKAY?" Clementine lowered her arms and rolled them. "Ahhh, that's a load off. Is everybody okay?" Now that Colt could see her clearly she was quite cute with a cute freckled face and beautiful fair skin and icy blue colored eyes. He also noticed her black T-Shirt with the words ' This Is My HUMAN Disguise I'm Really An Alien' emblazoned on the shirt with big white and green letters. "I...you...we....wow. That was...wow. That was amazing! H-how did you do that? Who are you?" "Oh yes, forgive my manners: The name's Clementine Kane and Farmwork's my game! Fitness is life you know!"  |

Once I get some milage from Shepard Mysteries it's going to get a long overdue crossover with this story
