Author's Note: This is what I consider to be a one-shot of a soon-to-be ongoing series. This follows the exploits of Rokuro Kusanagi or Rock as his friends would call him. A once protege of the renowned hero Phantom Knight has now ventured into his own as the Paragon, Valor. During the Solstice holiday, he hoped for a quiet weekend with his lady friend. But he'll soon discover that superheroing doesn't stop during the holidays. If anything it would get even more intense.
So it goes without saying this is my attempt at doing a Batman story. Or technically a Dick Grayson, Nightwing story, but without worrying about all that copyright stuff. Plus this goes with the tradition of doing one holiday story per year.
