A Short Story In Which Amanda LaRusso Has A Way Different Reaction To Kreese Pestering Her About Tory.

Amanda LaRusso pushed her cart down the aisle, her mind on the shopping list she’d scribbled on a scrap of paper earlier. It was a nice chill moment in a life that had quite frankly been going absolutely mad lately with all of this bizarre nonsensical Karate Madness and the general bullshit from the Cobra Brats. She was tired, frustrated, and fed up with the constant chaos Kreese brought into their lives so she was going to take this one quiet moment to relax her mind and get some stuff for her family. Unfortunately as she turned a corner, there he was—John Kreese, the man who had brought so much pain and turmoil to her family. He looked up, locking eyes with her, and a sly smile crept across his face. Amanda could feel the tension mounting as she approached, determined not to let him intimidate her.

"Well hello, Mrs. LaRusso." Kreese greeted, his tone dripping with condescension. "Nice to see you here but isn’t there a restraining order that prevents you from approaching me?"

Amanda didn’t miss a beat. "Technically, you’re the one approaching me. But I’m allowed to be here shopping for my family. If you push it, I can get it canceled. So, I advise you to step off."

Kreese’s smile faltered slightly, but he quickly regained his composure. "Is that what you told Tory when you got her fired?:

Amanda’s eyes flashed with anger, but she kept her voice steady. "Tory got herself fired with her attitude. All I did was warn her to stay away from my daughter after you sent her and your minions to our house. A remarkably light punishment considering all the ways I could destroy her. And I know about the wager you have with Daniel and Johnny. Losers leave town. I’m confident in our side to win, so you just keep your mongrels on their leashes until then. I'd hate to see them miss out on their one and only tournament."

Kreese chuckled, a dark, humorless sound. "You’re quite the protector, Mrs. LaRusso. I admire that. But you should know, Tory needed that job to provide for her family. Her mother is sick, and it’s just Tory and her little brother. She’s on her own."

Amanda’s expression hardened. "Did you know that when you sent Tory after Sam at school? Or when you sent your Cobra Kai students to our house? If you knew you were potentially dooming her with these criminal actions, then this is your mess to clean up. You have no right to whine to me just because I put out the fire you started over a petty, childish grudge you’ve held onto for 30 years just because you’re butthurt about Daniel punking out your students back then."

Kreese’s face twitched with suppressed rage, but Amanda pressed on. "I’m not going to switch sides and help Tory after two attempts on my daughter’s life just because a petty thug like you whines to me. You think I’m acting disrespectful? Nobody could respect you, Kreese! If you really want to help Tory, stop acting like a wannabe mob boss and actually do it yourself!" Amanda took a step closer, her voice dropping to a deadly whisper. “And if you or your mongrels continue to harass us, I’ll show you a whole new meaning of no mercy. Because that's what mothers do for their families. They make anyone who tries to hurt their child wish they'd never been born."

With that, Amanda turned on her heel and stormed off, leaving Kreese standing in stunned silence, his expression a mix of shock and begrudging respect.

As Amanda continued shopping, she couldn’t help but feel a sense of satisfaction. She had stood up to Kreese, defending her family with the fierce determination of a mother protecting her cubs. The battle was far from over, but Amanda knew one thing for certain: she wouldn’t let Kreese or his Cobra Kai students tear her family apart. Not now, not ever.

Right? Maybe not quite in the words Amanda used in the story up above but it still should've taken more than a single short chat with Kreese of all people to convince Amanda to do a complete 180 and give Tory a bunch of hand-outs. Especially after The Cobras immediately broke the alleged 'truce' that Kreese and Silver made when they attacked Hawk which should've been proof positive that none of them are worth trusting. If they can't be trusted to uphold a truce that their own Sensei's made how they can be trusted with ANYTHING at that point?!
