CHAPTER 1: TRAINING FOR THE ENTRANCE EXAM!

THESE KIDS ARE CRAZY!

ARCANE CITY

Chiyo Arakawa sat in the Arcane City Paragon Stadium with her feet kicked up and her eyes closed as she waited for Axel to show up with that delightful Sayuri girl for their training exercise. She'd managed to rent out the stadium for their afternoon training session after all so the absolute least the boy could do was show up on time. She had no doubt he would be there though. The kids wanted to be Guardians more than anything and they'd been training non-stop for years for it. They'd never missed a day of training and they wouldn't stop no. Rain OR Shine, they'd be here. 

Chiyo's eyes opened up and she brought her feet down and stood up to her full towering leggy 6'5 height and smiled down at entrance. She commanded the wind to dramatically blow her ponytail back to give her even more gravitas. They were quite the mismatched trio. Chiyo was wearing a fancy expensive suit, Axel was dressed in a punk rock outfit and Sayuri was a black short and t-shirt combination with pink lines and a pink tie. 



"Hello, children! You ready to train? Because I've got some very nice friends waiting for you in the shadows and they're all set and ready to give you the fight of your lives!"

Axel Arakawa smiled and patted his sheathed sword.  The wind blew his unzipped jacket back, revealing his clean white t-shirt with the image of the World's Savior, Captain Nova, plastered right on the front of it. His black jeans matched his jacket while his red shoes and their black laces matched his jacket's red hoodie. His wild spiked hair blew in the breeze. "Ready and waiting, mom! Bring 'em all on!" 

Sayuri Takayama stretched as the wind blew around her bright orange pigtails. "We're ready, Miss Arakawa, feel free to throw your biggest and baddest at us!" Her bright green eyes shined like emeralds. "We're The Strongest Devil Duo in Arcane City!" 



Chiyo clapped for the kids. "Wonderful! Such fine spirits, children, that's what I want to hear! Lets hope you can back it up! Now then..." She clasped her hands together. "Bring Forth The Darkness: Shadow Soldiers!" She expelled an eerie haunting black fog from her mouth that reached down to the stadium field where it spread outwards to cover it and surround them. The fog turned into a wavy black mist before red and black lightning began crackling throughout it and the mist lowered back down to the ground and took the form of a small army of shadowy humanoid monsters. The two knew exactly what this was: Manifestations of the monster essences she'd absorbed throughout her long and storied career as a Champion. Chiyo had a very long list of monsters she'd stored inside her, including some real heavy hitters, but she'd only released the minor leagues for their training exercise and when slain they would return to Chiyo.

Axel and Sayuri stood back-to-back against the minor monsters army. Axel unsheathed his sword and Sayuri reached behind herself and took out a pair of knives, twirled them and caught them. They were ready to get their workout started.

As Axel and Sayuri squared off with The Shadow Soldiers, they began to tap into and channel Vital Force to their limbs and weapons. Vital Force was an Esoteric Metaphysical Paranormal Energy from a higher dimension they called Perennial Eternal. They didn't know much about Perennial just yet, The Experts were still exploring and studying it, but they at least understood that it was an everlasting dimension bursting with limitless vitality and cosmic wonders and everyone who was anyone had some way or another of tapping into and channeling energy from that dimension to utilize their abilities, whether genetic, mystic, techno or otherwise. In the case of Axel and his mother it was the key to their Darkness and for Sayuri it was used for her Gravitational Abilities, on top of General Enhancements to their Physical Abilities. Now, normal non-enhanced weapons and attacks would pass right through the Shadow Soldiers but by channeling Vital Force to their limbs and weapons they could make contact with and disperse them. It was time to go to work!

"Bring Forth The Darkness: Shadow Limbs!" Axel called out and a cluster of Darkness formed on his back and then spread out into two long, lengthy, spindly arms which ended in large skeletal fists from which grew out more katanas. "Four Arms Stance!" The Shadow Men around him went all in on simultaneous attacks on him but Axel quickly began rotating to unleash a spinning whirling flurry of slashes from his two human arms holding onto his sword and the two darkness arms wielding the darkness swords! "Darkness Crashing Whirlwind!" HE spun around like a whirling fevrish of death and destruction while he was cutting down the Shadow Men. In the midst of the attack however a shadow chain was thrown out that wrapped around one of his shadow arms. So Axel stopped spinning, cut the chain apart, and resumed fighting. He used his sword to parry the blades of one of the Shadow Men while his Shadow Arms whipped around and parried sword slashes from the others. Axel's movements were swift and precise, each strike calculated to perfection like a seasoned warrior. The Shadow Warrior clashed with him with an intensity that matched that of a raging storm! Their swords clashed again and again, the wind whipping around them as their blades clashed in a blur. Each swing was met with equal force and agility as they danced across the battlefield like graceful predators locked in mortal combat. Axel continued to parry his opponent's blade swings while his shadow arms clashed with the others just as skillfully until he found his opening and then he impaled The Shadow Soldier, rotated his sword while it was still inside of him and slashed upwards and out of him! Meanwhile, his shadow arms retracted and then they thrusted forward again and stabbed the Shadow Soldiers through their heads! Axel retracted them again and then suddenly dodged to the side as a giant fist came crashing down on the ground where he'd just been standing! The shadow fist broke through the ground, making a small crater, and Axel flipped back up to his feet and he looked up at the giant towering shadow in the silhouette in the shape of a giant shark man! "Oh hey! I remember you!" He raised his swords and smiled. "It's been a long time Golden Sand Beach, Jumbo-Jaws, lets dance!"

Sayuri expression changed to a downright wicked one as she crossed her arms in an X-Shape. "❤*•.¸♥ 𝓖𝓻𝓪𝓿𝓲𝓽𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓵 𝓒𝓸𝓷𝓽𝓻𝓸𝓵: 𝓥𝓘𝓞𝓛𝓔𝓝𝓣 𝓡𝓔𝓟𝓤𝓛𝓢𝓘𝓞𝓝! ♥¸.•*❤"
She declared and spread her arms back out and sent out gravity waves to the crowd of Shadow Men that sent them flying back from the force of gravity being repelled around her! While doing this she raised her knives and released them causing them to rocket away from her like missiles! The charged up knives flew through the air and impaled flying shadow men, impaling them, tearing through them, ripping through them and out of their backs and then into the next targets. 
"❤*•.¸♥ PIERCING AFFECTION! ♥¸.•*❤" The Shadow Men rushed her so she backflipped into the air while she repelled the ground to throw herself backwards and soar over them, flip in the air and then she held her hands out. "❤*•.¸♥ 𝓖𝓻𝓪𝓿𝓲𝓽𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓵 𝓒𝓸𝓷𝓽𝓻𝓸𝓵: 𝓛𝓞𝓥𝓘𝓝𝓖 𝓐𝓣𝓣𝓡𝓐𝓒𝓣𝓘𝓞𝓝! ♥¸.•*❤!" She called out and recalled her knives causing them to fly through the air like missiles once again this time back up to her hands! Sayuri landed on her feet, twirled her knives, and then she ducked down as a spiked baseball bat swung through the air where her head had just been! She straightened back up and continued to dodge attacks from her assailant while she got a good look at the batter and then she laughed. "Ohhh-hohohohoooo-SNAP! She even got you?! HA! You were always were too reckless for your own good!" Her opponent, a tall, pigtailed, female Shadow Warrior in a vaguely clown-like outfit continued to attack her with wild swings while Sayuri dodged and weaved around them before springing over her and releasing her knives again into the back and out of the front of the Pigtailed Shadow Warrior before she brought them back to her hands while The Shadow Warrior collapsed on the ground, dispersed, returned back to being a shadow and was sucked back into Chiyo's shadow with the other dispersed fighters. 

Chiyo licked her lips. "I know I'm making the shadows hold back but the kids are doing really well out there. I'm proud of them." The Upper Body of the shadow of the Pigtailed Woman rose back up out of Chiyo's and looked back at her. "Of course, it's not like you were a particularly dangerous opponent anyway, am I right?" The Shadow Woman nodded her head and rotated back around to observe the fight.

Chiyo continued to watch the show unfold down in the stadium until she was suddenly interrupted by Lightning Screamer rocking out next to her complete with rock music playing in the air out of nowhere and the distant thump of bass drums and wailing guitars grew louder with each passing moment.  Both Chiyo and The Shadow turned their heads to watch her friend.

Dynamo Steele finished her solo and relaxed with her arms resting on the seat and her legs crossed. She was dressed in her customized Champion Gear: A blue bodysuit with gold lines and circuitry lines, gold buttons, a gold star on her chest, blue and gold gloves, boots and cuff links and audio enhancers which improved her already impressive powers. Dynamo let the rock music continue playing as she relaxed and ran a glove through her spikey blonde mohawk hair. Her piercing blue eyes sparkled as she looked down at the fight in the center of the stadium. "How's it hangin' Shade? I thought I sensed a surge of darkness in the area. Heck of a trainin' exercise." 

Chiyo fist bumped Dynamo. "Hey, what better way to train than fighting an army? It's how we trained back in the day."

"Ha! Good ol' Ironclad's Zerg Rush Trainin'! Good times! I rocked out SO HARD in that arena!" 

"An impromptu one woman rock concert is a hell of a way to fight an army I admit." Chiyo giggled. 

"It got me a date with Ripcord didn't it? And we've been in love ever since! Fuck yeah! Power Of Love!"

"Power Of Love! My Girl! Which reminds me, how are the kids?"

"Riotand Roxie are getting set up for a quick practice jam session in New Nova Park. I had a bit of time before they start rockin' out so I thought I'd swing on by to check in with you." She looked at the shadow. "So it's true. You really did take down Clarabella and her crew, huh?"

"Was there ever any doubt? It was over the moment I cornered them. Now the darkness that resided within them serves me while their physical selves are rehabilitated. Everybody wins."

"You 'Shadow Eaters' are really somethin', you know that?"

"Baby you know it."

Sayuri expression changed to a downright wicked one as she crossed her arms in an X-Shape. "❤*•.¸♥ 𝓖𝓻𝓪𝓿𝓲𝓽𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓵 𝓒𝓸𝓷𝓽𝓻𝓸𝓵: 𝓥𝓘𝓞𝓛𝓔𝓝𝓣 𝓡𝓔𝓟𝓤𝓛𝓢𝓘𝓞𝓝! ♥¸.•*❤"
She declared and spread her arms back out and sent out gravity waves to the crowd of Shadow Men that sent them flying back from the force of gravity being repelled around her! While doing this she raised her knives and released them causing them to rocket away from her like missiles! The charged up knives flew through the air and impaled flying shadow men, impaling them, tearing through them, ripping through them and out of their backs and then into the next targets. 
"❤*•.¸♥ PIERCING AFFECTION! ♥¸.•*❤" The Shadow Men rushed her so she backflipped into the air while she repelled the ground to throw herself backwards and soar over them, flip in the air and then she held her hands out. "❤*•.¸♥ 𝓖𝓻𝓪𝓿𝓲𝓽𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓵 𝓒𝓸𝓷𝓽𝓻𝓸𝓵: 𝓛𝓞𝓥𝓘𝓝𝓖 𝓐𝓣𝓣𝓡𝓐𝓒𝓣𝓘𝓞𝓝! ♥¸.•*❤!" She called out and recalled her knives causing them to fly through the air like missiles once again this time back up to her hands! Sayuri landed on her feet, twirled her knives, and then she ducked down as a spiked baseball bat swung through the air where her head had just been! She straightened back up and continued to dodge attacks from her assailant while she got a good look at the batter and then she laughed. "Ohhh-hohohohoooo-SNAP! She even got you?! HA! You were always were too reckless for your own good!" Her opponent, a tall, pigtailed, female Shadow Warrior in a vaguely clown-like outfit continued to attack her with wild swings while Sayuri dodged and weaved around them before springing over her and releasing her knives again into the back and out of the front of the Pigtailed Shadow Warrior before she brought them back to her hands while The Shadow Warrior collapsed on the ground, dispersed, returned back to being a shadow and was sucked back into Chiyo's shadow with the other dispersed fighters. 

Chiyo licked her lips. "I know I'm making the shadows hold back but the kids are doing really well out there. I'm proud of them." The Upper Body of the shadow of the Pigtailed Woman rose back up out of Chiyo's and looked back at her. "Of course, it's not like you were a particularly dangerous opponent anyway, am I right?" The Shadow Woman nodded her head and rotated back around to observe the fight. 

Chiyo continued to watch the show unfold down in the stadium until she was suddenly interrupted by Lightning Screamer rocking out next to her complete with rock music playing in the air out of nowhere and the distant thump of bass drums and wailing guitars grew louder with each passing moment.  Both Chiyo and The Shadow turned their heads to watch her friend.

Dynamo Steele finished her solo and relaxed with her arms resting on the seat and her legs crossed. She was dressed in her customized Champion Gear: A blue bodysuit with gold lines and circuitry lines, gold buttons, a gold star on her chest, blue and gold gloves, boots and cuff links and audio enhancers which improved her already impressive powers. Dynamo let the rock music continue playing as she relaxed and ran a glove through her spikey blonde mohawk hair. Her piercing blue eyes sparkled as she looked down at the fight in the center of the stadium. "How's it hangin' Shade? I thought I sensed a surge of darkness in the area. Heck of a trainin' exercise." 

Chiyo fist bumped Dynamo. "Hey, what better way to train than fighting an army? It's how we trained back in the day."

"Ha! Good ol' Ironclad's Zerg Rush Trainin'! Good times! I rocked out SO HARD in that arena!" 

"An impromptu one woman rock concert is a hell of a way to fight an army I admit." Chiyo giggled. 

"It got me a date with Ripcord didn't it? And we've been in love ever since! Fuck yeah! Power Of Love!"

"Power Of Love! My Girl! Which reminds me, how are the kids?"

"Riot and Roxie are getting set up for a quick practice jam session in New Nova Park. I had a bit of time before they start rockin' out so I thought I'd swing on by to check in with you." She looked at the shadow. "So it's true. You really did take down Clarabella and her crew, huh?"

"Was there ever any doubt? It was over the moment I cornered them. Now the darkness that resided within them serves me while their physical selves are rehabilitated. Everybody wins."

"You 'Shadow Eaters' are really somethin', you know that?"

"Baby you know it." 

Axel continued to dodge the wild furious swipes from the sharkman's shadow with a smile on his face. "It's been a long time, Fish Chowder, I haven't seen you since that day on the beach. I'm not going to lie, you scared the hell out of me back then. You're the only person who ever has. But, you know, I was a little kid back then." Axel told him while he athletically weaved and flipped around him. "Not anymore though! I'm all grown up this time and shadow or not I'm going to dice you up!" He backflipped through the air and landed on his feet and he wrapped himself up with his shadow arms and sheathed his sword, knelt down and grabbed the sheathe and sword hilt. "Four Armed Shadow Style: Dark Spider Rush!" He called out and blitzed towards the sharkman's shadow and the crowd gathered around it in a blazing fast blur of speed while unleashing a whirlwind of slashes from all of his swords at once! The blur washed over them and Axel re-appeared behind them with his shadow coated sword held out in front of him while the shadow swords are extended outwards and the entire crowd behind him, sharkman shadow included, fell into pieces. "Ahhhh. Been waiting to use that one." He chuckled.

Dynamo whistled. "Hey now. That was impressive for a kid." She complimented him. "Riot is still stronger though."

"Ha-ha-ha! Well, who can tell? But it'll take more than The Power Of Rock to beat my son." Chiyo joked with her.

Back on the battlefield, Sayuri continued to gracefully dodge around the shadow men's attacks with ballet flips and twirls and gymnastic maneuvers of her own as she dodged around their sword slashes with a smile on her face and joyous laughter. She even had time to watch Axel finish off his half of the crowd! "YEAH! THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! THAT IS MY MAN RIGHT THERE! WHOOOOO! YEAH! YEAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Sayuri declared while she continued to jump up and down in excitement. The Shadow Soldiers took this chance to attack her from behind only for Sayuri to suddenly raise her knife and stop two swords at once! "Hey! Don't interrupt me!" She spat at them and flicked her knife and knocked the shadow soldiers backwards. "HEY! Don't interrupt me when I'm watching my Prince fight! How rude! I'll teach you all a lesson for that!" She declared and suddenly resumed backflipping and turning and twisting through the air to get over the shadow men until she landed on her feet and put her hands together and then she pointed her knives forward.

"◦❧◦°˚°◦.¸¸◦°´❤*•.¸♥ 𝓖𝓻𝓪𝓿𝓲𝓽𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓵 𝓒𝓸𝓷𝓽𝓻𝓸𝓵 𝓗𝓲𝓼𝓼𝓪𝓽𝓼𝓾: 𝓛𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓵𝔂 𝓐𝓬𝓬𝓮𝓵𝓮𝓻𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 𝓓𝓪𝓻𝓽𝓼! ♥¸.•*❤´°◦¸¸.◦°˚°◦☙◦!" She called out her finisher while gripping her knives as hard as she could while releasing more and more gravitational power into her knives until she finally released them! The knives shot forward like missiles at the shadow men, stabbed into them, impaled them, pierced through them, kept going, impaled more of them, were recalled, returned to Sayuri and then they were released again! They stabbed through more of them, were recalled and shot forward again! She continued this process of recalling and rocketing knives and then all over again, essentially allowing her to rapid fire her knives, until all of the shadow men dropped to the ground full of the holes she'd stabbed through all of them. Sayuri caught her knives, twirled them, tossed them into the air and grabbed them again and struck a pose. "And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the Power Of LOVE!" Sayuri declared loud and proud to the world. 

Chiyo and Dynamo laughed and applauded their efforts as the defeated shadows returned to Chiyo.  "Excellent work kids! A truly splendid performance! You're more than ready for the entrance exam!"

"YEAH!" Axel and Sayuri yelled out and they leaped into the air and high-fived each other!

"Just remember to stay on your guard, work together and watch each other's backs when you're there and you won't ever have to worry about losing." She informed them. "But most importantly just remember to have fun." 

"Unleash your inner rock gods and you'll destroy every obstacle in your path and blow their freaking minds." Dynamo advised them. "Trust me, it's the best way to live your life."

"Yes Ma'am! Rest assured we'll follow your sage wisdom and let it carry us to victory!" 

"Also, it's just nice to see you again, Dynamo. Will R&R be joining us?" 

"Compliments appreciated, children! The kids are currently busy rocking Arcadia Park. We can still catch them if you'd like."

"Can we mom?" Axel asked her.

"You did very well in your training to day so sure thing. Lets go ahead and visit your friends." 

"YAHOOO! YES!"

The marvelous Neo-Arcadia Park was one of the most gorgeous and beautiful city parks in the country if not the world: A vast expanse of lush greenery and innovative architecture that seemed to transport visitors to a whole new world. Upon entering the park you would be greeted by a symphony of colors and shapes, a kaleidoscope of futuristic designs that blended seamlessly with the natural beauty of their surroundings. The pathways were lined with hovering trees, their branches swirling in a mesmerizing dance as if guided by unseen hands.

The park even included a particularly stunning sculpture garden where larger-than-life statues of abstract shapes and forms stood majestically against the backdrop of a shimmering waterfall. Each sculpture seemed to come alive in the changing lights, casting shadows that danced across the ground in a hypnotic rhythm.

One of the most striking features of the park were The Skywalks, a series of interconnected bridges that soared high above the park, offering panoramic views of the city. The bridges were adorned with intricate geometric patterns that seemed to pulse with energy, creating a sense of movement and life that was truly awe-inspiring.

At the heart of Neo Arcadia Park was the Glass Pavilion, a futuristic structure made of advanced materials that seemed to blend seamlessly with its surroundings. Inside, the pavilion housed a world-renowned art gallery, showcasing the works of local and international artists in a space that seemed to defy the laws of physics!

As you strolled through this beauty of a park you couldn't help but feel a sense of peace and tranquility washing over you. The air was filled with the sweet scent of exotic flowers and the gentle human of hidden water features providing a soothing soundtrack to your journey. Of course, said soothing sensations would soon be drowned out by the power of ROCK but R&R had received special permission ahead of time to rock out here and sent word out about their performance beforehand so it was all good.

They're still warming up though so we'll turn our attention where another pair of aspiring Champions were relaxing in one of the ponds in their own way.

The first one, Davey Jones, was a muscular, athletic, spiked dark haired young man wearing a black leather jacket, a tan shirt, dark blue jeans and black and white shoes, was utilizing The Vital Force to bend the water to his wills to create a small throne of water underneath him that he was relaxing on while he observed the park and continued to make different shapes from the water to put on a show for the people around him.



The other kid currently relaxing in the pond was considerably more subdued. She was a short looking ice cold young lady in a dark blue overcoat with a red hoodie that matched her dark blue dress and pants. The girl herself had light blue skin and bright blue hair. There were clumps of snow and ice inside her hoodie but the young lady clearly didn't mind it. In fact, if the snow filled ice canoe she was currently relaxing in was any indication she apparently found it quite comfortable. This demure little ice flower was Frostine Blanche: An aspiring Champion with a natural talent for The Vital Force Arctic Arts who came here to the park today for an afternoon snooze after all of the training she'd been putting in lately. 



Davey was of course having fun manipulating the water to create multiple shapes and designs to entertain everyone but he was also skilled enough with his powers that he didn't even slightly disturb Frosty's canoe, allowing his friend to enjoy her nap while he still continued his show. 

Davey stood up on the throne and turned it into a platform from which he would commence his dance. With his graceful movements and wavering focus he would bend water with unparalleled precision and control.

His prodigious hydrokinetic talents weren't just a skill but a source of joy and wonder for all who witnessed him forming the water into intricate shapes and patterns that danced in harmony with his movements.

With a flick of his wrists he summoned tendrils of water from the pond's depths and weaved them into elaborate spirals that shimmered like liquid silk in the sunlight.

The audience gasped in awe as Davey twirled and leaped with effortless grace while manipulating the water with finesse that it seemed to come alive beneath his touch.

As he continued his mesmerizing dance, shaping waves that rolled and fell like gentle tides, the water began to respond to his emotions and mirrored his joy and excitement in its fluid movements.

It sparkled with an ethereal light from the Vital Force Energies coursing through the pond that bathed the entire park in a radiant glow.

The spectators watched spellbound as Davey's show reached its crescendo in a breathtaking finale where he sculped an intricate fountain that soared high into the sky before cascading back down in shimmering curtains of droplets all of which dodged Frostina as they rained down back into the pond.

Cheers erupted from the crowd as they applauded his artistry and skills.

This was enough to finally wake up Frostina who sat up in her canoe, snow and ice sliding off of her and into the pond, and she raised her arms up and stretched and let out a long adorable sounding yawn. "Mmmm? Is it time to wake up already?"

"Hey Frostie!" Davey greeted her as he bowed gracefully before his awestruck audience, knowing that this moment would be etched forever into their memories, a testament to the boundless magic of Hydrokinesis and the joy it brought to all who witnessed its grace. "Sorry if I woke you."

"Naaahhh it's cool, it's cool. I think I might've slept longer than I intended...who are they?"

"My adoring public. I put on a little water show for them."

"Ohhhh. Wow. Sorry I missed it." She stood up in her Ice Canoe and raised her hands up and the entire snow filled ice boat was gracefully levitated into the air. "But I'm sure it was awesome, Davey." She shaped the boat into a platform that gracefully levitated back down to the grass below and then she hopped off. "Incidentally? Crystal clear water, Glistening in the sunlight, Nature's precious gem, Ice shines like diamonds, Sparkling in the winter's light, A frozen treasure, Water and ice dance, In a delicate ballet, Nature's pure beauty." She informed him and turned the snow and ice covered platform into a bo-staff she twirled and placed on the ground.

"Niiice one." Davey complimented.

"Thank you." She held in the air and the bo-staff began levitating into the air and then she leaped into the air, grabbed onto it, swung onto it and then she took a seat again and crossed her legs. "So what now? Is it time for the concert yet?"

"Not just yet. Don't worry though. They'll be ready soon."

"Cool." She hopped off of the staff, grabbed onto it, flipped over it over and over and over before she suddenly flung herself up into the air, flipped a few more times into the air, and then she grabbed onto Davey's hand and he held her aloft with one hand while the audience cheered them on! "By the way, we need to remember to record it and sent it to Amelia. I know she's busy training on Marksman Island but still I'd imagine she'd be more than happy to watch a rock concert on a break." 

(And what harsh yet amazing training it must be. Training to be a Marksman Hero on an island literally dedicated to teaching that style of combat under the tutelage of The Sniper Queen herself: The Major. I can only imagine what it's like.)  "You're right about that. Lets do it. I can't think of anything better to watch on a training break."

"Ha-ha-ha! Well, who can tell? But it'll take more than The Power Of Rock to beat my son." Chiyo joked with her.

Back on the battlefield, Sayuri continued to gracefully dodge around the shadow men's attacks with ballet flips and twirls and gymnastic maneuvers of her own as she dodged around their sword slashes with a smile on her face and joyous laughter. She even had time to watch Axel finish off his half of the crowd! "YEAH! THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! THAT IS MY MAN RIGHT THERE! WHOOOOO! YEAH! YEAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Sayuri declared while she continued to jump up and down in excitement. The Shadow Soldiers took this chance to attack her from behind only for Sayuri to suddenly raise her knife and stop two swords at once! "Hey! Don't interrupt me!" She spat at them and flicked her knife and knocked the shadow soldiers backwards. "HEY! Don't interrupt me when I'm watching my Prince fight! How rude! I'll teach you all a lesson for that!" She declared and suddenly resumed backflipping and turning and twisting through the air to get over the shadow men until she landed on her feet and put her hands together and then she pointed her knives forward.

"◦❧◦°˚°◦.¸¸◦°´❤*•.¸♥ 𝓖𝓻𝓪𝓿𝓲𝓽𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓵 𝓒𝓸𝓷𝓽𝓻𝓸𝓵 𝓗𝓲𝓼𝓼𝓪𝓽𝓼𝓾: 𝓛𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓵𝔂 𝓐𝓬𝓬𝓮𝓵𝓮𝓻𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 𝓓𝓪𝓻𝓽𝓼! ♥¸.•*❤´°◦¸¸.◦°˚°◦☙◦!" She called out her finisher while gripping her knives as hard as she could while releasing more and more gravitational power into her knives until she finally released them! The knives shot forward like missiles at the shadow men, stabbed into them, impaled them, pierced through them, kept going, impaled more of them, were recalled, returned to Sayuri and then they were released again! They stabbed through more of them, were recalled and shot forward again! She continued this process of recalling and rocketing knives and then all over again, essentially allowing her to rapid fire her knives, until all of the shadow men dropped to the ground full of the holes she'd stabbed through all of them. Sayuri caught her knives, twirled them, tossed them into the air and grabbed them again and struck a pose. "And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the Power Of LOVE!" Sayuri declared loud and proud to the world. 

Chiyo and Dynamo laughed and applauded their efforts as the defeated shadows returned to Chiyo.  "Excellent work kids! A truly splendid performance! You're more than ready for the entrance exam!"

"YEAH!" Axel and Sayuri yelled out and they leaped into the air and high-fived each other!

"Just remember to stay on your guard, work together and watch each other's backs when you're there and you won't ever have to worry about losing." She informed them. "But most importantly just remember to have fun." 

"Unleash your inner rock gods and you'll destroy every obstacle in your path and blow their freaking minds." Dynamo advised them. "Trust me, it's the best way to live your life."

"Yes Ma'am! Rest assured we'll follow your sage wisdom and let it carry us to victory!" 

"Also, it's just nice to see you again, Dynamo. Will R&R be joining us?" 

"Compliments appreciated, children! The kids are currently busy rocking Arcadia Park. We can still catch them if you'd like."

"Can we mom?" Axel asked her.

"You did very well in your training to day so sure thing. Lets go ahead and visit your friends." 

"YAHOOO! YES!" 

The marvelous Neo-Arcadia Park was one of the most gorgeous and beautiful city parks in the country if not the world: A vast expanse of lush greenery and innovative architecture that seemed to transport visitors to a whole new world. Upon entering the park you would be greeted by a symphony of colors and shapes, a kaleidoscope of futuristic designs that blended seamlessly with the natural beauty of their surroundings. The pathways were lined with hovering trees, their branches swirling in a mesmerizing dance as if guided by unseen hands.

The park even included a particularly stunning sculpture garden where larger-than-life statues of abstract shapes and forms stood majestically against the backdrop of a shimmering waterfall. Each sculpture seemed to come alive in the changing lights, casting shadows that danced across the ground in a hypnotic rhythm.

One of the most striking features of the park were The Skywalks, a series of interconnected bridges that soared high above the park, offering panoramic views of the city. The bridges were adorned with intricate geometric patterns that seemed to pulse with energy, creating a sense of movement and life that was truly awe-inspiring.

At the heart of Neo Arcadia Park was the Glass Pavilion, a futuristic structure made of advanced materials that seemed to blend seamlessly with its surroundings. Inside, the pavilion housed a world-renowned art gallery, showcasing the works of local and international artists in a space that seemed to defy the laws of physics!

As you strolled through this beauty of a park you couldn't help but feel a sense of peace and tranquility washing over you. The air was filled with the sweet scent of exotic flowers and the gentle human of hidden water features providing a soothing soundtrack to your journey. Of course, said soothing sensations would soon be drowned out by the power of ROCK but R&R had received special permission ahead of time to rock out here and sent word out about their performance beforehand so it was all good.

They're still warming up though so we'll turn our attention where another pair of aspiring Champions were relaxing in one of the ponds in their own way.

The first one, Davey Jones, was a muscular, athletic, spiked dark haired young man wearing a black leather jacket, a tan shirt, dark blue jeans and black and white shoes, was utilizing The Vital Force to bend the water to his wills to create a small throne of water underneath him that he was relaxing on while he observed the park and continued to make different shapes from the water to put on a show for the people around him.



The other kid currently relaxing in the pond was considerably more subdued. She was a short looking ice cold young lady in a dark blue overcoat with a red hoodie that matched her dark blue dress and pants. The girl herself had light blue skin and bright blue hair. There were clumps of snow and ice inside her hoodie but the young lady clearly didn't mind it. In fact, if the snow filled ice canoe she was currently relaxing in was any indication she apparently found it quite comfortable. This demure little ice flower was Frostine Blanche: An aspiring Champion with a natural talent for The Vital Force Arctic Arts who came here to the park today for an afternoon snooze after all of the training she'd been putting in lately. 



Davey was of course having fun manipulating the water to create multiple shapes and designs to entertain everyone but he was also skilled enough with his powers that he didn't even slightly disturb Frosty's canoe, allowing his friend to enjoy her nap while he still continued his show. 

Davey stood up on the throne and turned it into a platform from which he would commence his dance. With his graceful movements and wavering focus he would bend water with unparalleled precision and control.

His prodigious hydrokinetic talents weren't just a skill but a source of joy and wonder for all who witnessed him forming the water into intricate shapes and patterns that danced in harmony with his movements.

With a flick of his wrists he summoned tendrils of water from the pond's depths and weaved them into elaborate spirals that shimmered like liquid silk in the sunlight.

The audience gasped in awe as Davey twirled and leaped with effortless grace while manipulating the water with finesse that it seemed to come alive beneath his touch.

As he continued his mesmerizing dance, shaping waves that rolled and fell like gentle tides, the water began to respond to his emotions and mirrored his joy and excitement in its fluid movements.

It sparkled with an ethereal light from the Vital Force Energies coursing through the pond that bathed the entire park in a radiant glow.

The spectators watched spellbound as Davey's show reached its crescendo in a breathtaking finale where he sculped an intricate fountain that soared high into the sky before cascading back down in shimmering curtains of droplets all of which dodged Frostina as they rained down back into the pond.

Cheers erupted from the crowd as they applauded his artistry and skills.

This was enough to finally wake up Frostina who sat up in her canoe, snow and ice sliding off of her and into the pond, and she raised her arms up and stretched and let out a long adorable sounding yawn. "Mmmm? Is it time to wake up already?"

"Hey Frostie!" Davey greeted her as he bowed gracefully before his awestruck audience, knowing that this moment would be etched forever into their memories, a testament to the boundless magic of Hydrokinesis and the joy it brought to all who witnessed its grace. "Sorry if I woke you."

"Naaahhh it's cool, it's cool. I think I might've slept longer than I intended...who are they?"

"My adoring public. I put on a little water show for them."

"Ohhhh. Wow. Sorry I missed it." She stood up in her Ice Canoe and raised her hands up and the entire snow filled ice boat was gracefully levitated into the air. "But I'm sure it was awesome, Davey." She shaped the boat into a platform that gracefully levitated back down to the grass below and then she hopped off. "Incidentally? Crystal clear water, Glistening in the sunlight, Nature's precious gem, Ice shines like diamonds, Sparkling in the winter's light, A frozen treasure, Water and ice dance, In a delicate ballet, Nature's pure beauty." She informed him and turned the snow and ice covered platform into a bo-staff she twirled and placed on the ground.

"Niiice one." Davey complimented.

"Thank you." She held in the air and the bo-staff began levitating into the air and then she leaped into the air, grabbed onto it, swung onto it and then she took a seat again and crossed her legs. "So what now? Is it time for the concert yet?"

"Not just yet. Don't worry though. They'll be ready soon."

"Cool." She hopped off of the staff, grabbed onto it, flipped over it over and over and over before she suddenly flung herself up into the air, flipped a few more times into the air, and then she grabbed onto Davey's hand and he held her aloft with one hand while the audience cheered them on! "By the way, we need to remember to record it and sent it to Amelia. I know she's busy training on Marksman Island but still I'd imagine she'd be more than happy to watch a rock concert on a break." 

(And what harsh yet amazing training it must be. Training to be a Marksman Hero on an island literally dedicated to teaching that style of combat under the tutelage of The Sniper Queen herself: The Major. I can only imagine what it's like.)  "You're right about that. Lets do it. I can't think of anything better to watch on a training break." 

"Al-right! I know she'll love it. Lets see, the concert should be starting up soon so we should probably go get some front row seats." She told him. They were interrupted however by a wave of flower petals floating past them. They twirled through the air in a beautiful dance that mixed with Frosty's snowflakes in an elegant manner that captivated the hearts of the viewers and the aspiring heroes alike! They were so enamored with this sudden display that Davey didn't even notice the rose floating through the air until it was passing in front of him. He gently plucked it out of the air and took a long smell off of it and smiled. He already knew exactly who'd come to visit them. Frosty leaped off of his hand and began levitating on her ice bo-staff as it rotated around to behold the beautiful young maiden who'd come to join them. The green haired beauty with the green thumb to match and a practitioner of The Botanic Arts: Crystal Vineyard. 







She strolled through the park with her dress and hair blowing in the wind while whole new plantlife bloomed in her wake and flower petals swirled around her. With a mental command from Crystal and a flex of her Vital Force they flew away from her and began spinning around the pond. "Hello everyone!" Crystal greeted them. "That was a wonderful performance with the dancing water, Davey."

"Why thank you, my Floral Friend! Might I say that your Green Thumb is as impressive as ever."

"Welcome to the party, Crystal!" Frosty greeted her and she ran over to her and leaped up in the air and high-fived her. Crystal happily met her hands while channeling energy to her hands to prevent her hands from being chilled on contact.

"Compliments appreciated, Davey. I wouldn't miss it for the world. I figure we have at least more minutes, right?"

"That's right. They're waiting for a sufficiently dramatic moment so the rest of our friends can show up. Speaking of which..."

"Is the Volcano going to erupt?"

"Nah, Flare said that she's currently undergoing her own special training. She'll be back when she finishes it."

Axel and Takayama had quickly crossed the skyline of the city to arrive at the location of the park when they saw an angel flying in the skies above the park and watching the show below. A literal actual freaking Angel had descended from on high to visit their beautiful city and grace them with his prescence! Or it could just be Adam. Adam Anderson Abel was a shining glowing white haired young man the same age as them with boyishly handsome features, an ubuttoned black military jacket with gold shoulderpads, a blue longsleeved shirt with gold buttons and matching blue jeans with black shoes. His most notable features were the Shining Angelic-esque Wings that reached out of his back through slots in his shirt and jacket. The manifestation of his Vital Force. They glowed with a bright light that always grabbed the attention of everyone to let them know that The Angel was here to protect them.



"Yo Lightshow! How's it hangin'?"

Adam turned around to look back at the two of them. "Hello Axel. Hello Takayama. How's the day treating you?"

"One of the best days we've had. You hear for the concert too?"

"We all are. It's just about time for it to start and I wanted to get a bird's eye view of the show."

"Because you're an Angel, right?" Taka asked him.

"...Sure. But mostly because Angel Wings make it easy to stay in the sky and I can work them out at the same time."

"Yeah, that makes sense. By the way, I've been wondering, could you fly out to Marksman Island to check in on Amelia?" Axel asked him.

"Potentially but there's a few problems: 1) I don't know where it is. That place is a tightly kept secret. 2) Even if I knew where it was it would likely be a loooong flight and even I would get tired eventually. Vital Force doesn't last forever. We have to sit down and recharge eventually. 3) It's freaking Marksman Island. I'm not flying anywhere close to that place without some kind of pass. They train some of the country's best snipers on that island. It's in the title." Adam joked.

"HA! Yeah that's fair. That makes sense. I guess we'll just have to wait it out to see how much she's grown when she returns." Axel decided. "I can't wait though. I bet she'll be crazy strong when she gets back!"

"Amelia was always way stronger than she looked even without being able to amplify herself with Vital Force. A Summer's worth of military training on an island is going to turn her into a total beast!" Takayama added.

"That's right. She'll be a lethal wrecking machine at close range and a terrifying menace at long range. So I hope you guys have been trainign just as hard. We can't disappoint her by slacking off."

"Pfft. Who do you think you're talking to? We're stronger than ever bro!"

"I hope so. Because you know the level of training that she'll be comparing us to."

"Oh we're aware. But don't you worry about a thing. We're strong."

Axel clapped his hands. "Anyway it's nearly time. Do you want to watch up from here or come down with us?"

"It's all good man. I'm fine watching up here. You guys go find yourselves a nice spot to enjoy the show from."

"Alright then. We'll pick you up a snack from concession." He told him and fist bumped Adam before the two of them dashed downwards to the ground below, shooting off of the towering building's roof and landing on their feet below. Axel and Taka then began strolling through the park towards the stage.

All too soon the time came for the show to begin! There was a large stage in the park that had until now been covered up by a large tarp with some rock music playing from underneath it as The Steele Siblings practiced and warmed up for the show. The music became more and more frequent until the tarp began shaking and billowing from an unknown force pushing it around from the inside until the tarp was finally sudden blown off and thrown into the air by a burst of light that sent it flying high up into the sky! The tarp soon dissolved into sparkles of light while The Steele Siblings were revealed down below. Riot And Roxie were standing tall and proud as they greeted the smiling faces of the audience.

Roxie was a tough looking tomboyish punk rocker girl with long blonde hair she kept tied into a ponytail. Her bangs framed either side of her face and bits of her hair were spiked up. Her outfit was comprised of a zipped up green shirt with a raised metal collar, green wristbands, black and pink armored sleeves, a black spiked skirt with red lines, a silver metallic belt and black biker shorts she wore beneath her skirt.

Riot was the taller sibling with handsome, pretty boy features, wild brown hair, a red leather jacket with symbols of The Steele Family on it, a black t-shirt and black jeans and black wristbands.

"LADIES AND GENTLMEEEEEEN! BOOOOYYYS AND GIIIIRLS! WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE BUT WE PROMISE IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT! NOW ARE YOU READY TO ROCK?!" Riot shouted at the audience.

The audience cheered in reaction.

"HE SAID ARE YOU FREAKING READY?!" Roxie asked.

The audience cheered again!

"HELL YEAH THAT'S WHAT WE LIKE TO HEAR! WE'RE GOING TO ROCK THIS WHOLE CITY TO ITS FREAKING FOUNDATIONS!" Riot shouted out with a big wide smile on his face.

"WE ARE THE STEELE SIBLINGS! ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!" Roxie reached into a bag on her belt and pulled out a small handheld radio device that she raised into the air. 📻 "TUNE ON IN!" 📻 She called out and charged her Vital Force into it to activate her power. Roxie was a Conduit: A specific class of Super who utilized a specific object to activate their power by channeling Vital Force into it to call out something specifically related to it. Since Roxie channeled her powers into the radio and was just plain extra this resulted in her channeling the Radio to summon multiple loudspeakers! The ground on either side and behind the stage began glowing with brilliant lights as lights shined out of the radio in her hands. Soon three towering black pulsing loudspeakers grew out of the ground! They flanked either side of the stage with one more behind it! They were going to rock the park and the entire city! "Lets get it started bro!"

"Hell yeah! Come forth: S͛h͛o͛c͛k͛e͛r͛t͛a͛r͛!͛" He threw up his right hand and opened up his palm. A large glowing ball of electricity appeared in his palm and swirled around in the air until he grabbed it and closed his hand on it and there was a flash of light and the electricity ball morphed into a whole entire electric guitar literally made out of electricity! As he grasped it, the lightning guitar generated a yellow and blue electrical aura that quickly surrounded his body and caused his hair to stand up straight in a spiked up form.  Riot jumped forward and swiped it with his free hand to send out a blast of sound that washed over the park! As he began rocking out, three electrical spheres flew off of his guitar and swirled around the stage with energy crackling around them until they began taking on an almost humanoid shape! The more power the two pumped out the more they transformed into they turned into a full-on band: Two guitar players and a drummer! They served as the greater whole of their band and provided some seriously rocking music!
 
Riot strummed the first chord and the park erupted into a frenzy. The guitar solo that followed was like nothing anyone had ever heard before. It was if the young man was channeling the very essence of the music itself, coaxing out every last drop of emotion and energy, as lights flashed out of his guitar and the music was further amplified by the giant speakers that Roxie summoned. The solo built in intensity with each note more piercing and powerful than the last. The crowd was transfixed, mesmerized by the sheer skill and passion of the performance. Riot's fingers moved with lightning speed and precision and the big wide smile never left his face. As the solo reached its climax he raised the literal electric guitar raised his instrument high above his head and continued his solo with ferocity. The crowd was on their feet now, cheering and clapping along with the music and when it finally came to an end the guitarist stood back grinning from ear to ear. He drew them in with his guitar and now it was time to sing.

They sang together while they rocked out and rocked the park with their combined musical powers washing over their enraptured audience!

Roxie jumped forward and got ready for her solo with her brother's rock music backing her up.

She twirled back across the stage over to her brother and joined back up with him for their concert.

"LADIES AND GENTLMEEEEEEN! BOOOOYYYS AND GIIIIRLS! WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE BUT WE PROMISE IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT! NOW ARE YOU READY TO ROCK?!" Riot shouted at the audience.

The audience cheered in reaction.

"HE SAID ARE YOU FREAKING READY?!" Roxie asked.

The audience cheered again!

"HELL YEAH THAT'S WHAT WE LIKE TO HEAR! WE'RE GOING TO ROCK THIS WHOLE CITY TO ITS FREAKING FOUNDATIONS!" Riot shouted out with a big wide smile on his face.

"WE ARE THE STEELE SIBLINGS! ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!" Roxie reached into a bag on her belt and pulled out a small handheld radio device that she raised into the air. 📻 "TUNE ON IN!" 📻 She called out and charged her Vital Force into it to activate her power. Roxie was a Conduit: A specific class of Super who utilized a specific object to activate their power by channeling Vital Force into it to call out something specifically related to it. Since Roxie channeled her powers into the radio and was just plain extra this resulted in her channeling the Radio to summon multiple loudspeakers! The ground on either side and behind the stage began glowing with brilliant lights as lights shined out of the radio in her hands. Soon three towering black pulsing loudspeakers grew out of the ground! They flanked either side of the stage with one more behind it! They were going to rock the park and the entire city! "Lets get it started bro!"

"Hell yeah! Come forth: S͛h͛o͛c͛k͛e͛r͛t͛a͛r͛!͛" He threw up his right hand and opened up his palm. A large glowing ball of electricity appeared in his palm and swirled around in the air until he grabbed it and closed his hand on it and there was a flash of light and the electricity ball morphed into a whole entire electric guitar literally made out of electricity! As he grasped it, the lightning guitar generated a yellow and blue electrical aura that quickly surrounded his body and caused his hair to stand up straight in a spiked up form.  Riot jumped forward and swiped it with his free hand to send out a blast of sound that washed over the park! As he began rocking out, three electrical spheres flew off of his guitar and swirled around the stage with energy crackling around them until they began taking on an almost humanoid shape! The more power the two pumped out the more they transformed into they turned into a full-on band: Two guitar players and a drummer! They served as the greater whole of their band and provided some seriously rocking music!
 
Riot strummed the first chord and the park erupted into a frenzy. The guitar solo that followed was like nothing anyone had ever heard before. It was if the young man was channeling the very essence of the music itself, coaxing out every last drop of emotion and energy, as lights flashed out of his guitar and the music was further amplified by the giant speakers that Roxie summoned. The solo built in intensity with each note more piercing and powerful than the last. The crowd was transfixed, mesmerized by the sheer skill and passion of the performance. Riot's fingers moved with lightning speed and precision and the big wide smile never left his face. As the solo reached its climax he raised the literal electric guitar raised his instrument high above his head and continued his solo with ferocity. The crowd was on their feet now, cheering and clapping along with the music and when it finally came to an end the guitarist stood back grinning from ear to ear. He drew them in with his guitar and now it was time to sing.

They sang together while they rocked out and rocked the park with their combined musical powers washing over their enraptured audience!

Roxie jumped forward and got ready for her solo with her brother's rock music backing her up.

She twirled back across the stage over to her brother and joined back up with him for their concert.

As the Steele Siblings continued to rock out the crowd erupted into cheers, their enthusiasm palpable. Riot unleashed a thunderous riff while the sound of drums reverberated through the air like a heartbeat, inciting the crowd further. People of all ages and backgrounds came together to watch the show, drawn towards from the astonishing music. The melodies soared and their lyrics resonated, wearing a tapestry of emotions that touched the very souls of everyone present. Each note was like a brushstroke on a canvas, painting a picture of euphoria and liberation.

The Steele Siblings commanded the stage with their magnetic presences, their voices raw and powerful, carrying the motions of their songs like symphonies of the heart. The bassist and drummer provided the pulsating backbone of the music, driving the energy to dizzying heights, adding layers of depth and texture that created sonic landscapes that enveloped the audience in whirlwinds of sound. As the show progressed the music took on a life of its own, carrying the crowd on a journey of exhilaration and bliss. People danced and sang along and rocked out with the siblings, their voices blending with those of the rockstars and their fellow concert-goers in a chorus of unity and joy. The energy in the air was electric, and not just because of Riot's electric abilities, crackling with the promise of an unforgettable experience.

In that moment, nothing else mattered but the music. The worries and stresses of daily life melted away, replaced by a sense of freedom and euphoria. Each song was a gift, a reminder of the power of music to uplift and inspire, to connect people in a shared moment of pure, unadulterated joy. As the final chords, rang out into the night sky, the crowd roared their approval, their hearts full and their spirits soaring. The band took their final bow, their faces beaming with pride and gratitude for the unforgettable party they'd shared with their fans.

"THANK YOU ARCANE! YOU'VE BEEN A WONDERFUL AUDIENCE! WE LOVE YOU ALL!" The two cried out and with one final jump into the air and guitar riff from Riot, the show was brought to an end. The constructs slowly faded away along with his guitar while the giant speakers around the stage sank into the ground and faded away. The show was over and the audience were cheering them all on. The Steele Siblings sat down on the stage letting their legs dangle off the stage.

"Ohhh man...that was fun. That freaking rocked!" Riot laughed.

"Nothing better than rocking out!" Roxie added as she put her radio away. "It's going to be hard to top this one."

"Tell me about it. But we'll have plenty of time to plan it out. Couldn't have done it without you, sis."

"We're a team bro. So long as we stick together we're unstoppable."

"Annnnd got it!" Frosty said with a smile as she finished recording the show and sent the video to Amelia.

"Same!" Davey responded as he did the same. "She's going to love this."

"That was amazing guys!" Axel told the Rockstars as he ran up to the stage and leaped into the air to greet them.

"Bring it in Shade!" Riot responded as he charged his hand up with electricity while Axel surrounded his hand with darkness as he landed and high-fived him! Electricity and waves of darkness were emitted from their two hands as they collided, then they pulled back, then they clasped hands with each other in an epic handshake, then they pulled back and slapped their hands together sideways back and forth before putting their hands, wiggled their fingers together, pulled away, touched their elbows together with style while twisting their hips, snapped their fingers together three times while placing their hands over each other and then they finally threw their hands in the air.
"Wao-wao, Wow Wow Woaw Woaw Wah Wah Wah Wah Wah Wah Waaaaah! DARK ROCK!" They called out simultaneously and laughed as they powered back down. 

"Seriously bro, that was amazing. I think you topped yourselves with that one."

"Well it was technically a goodbye concert since we'll be at school for a while. But at the same time we'll be perfecting our craft while we're there so we can rock this city even harder." Riot admitted. "Just a shame 'Mia couldn't be here to rock out with us."

"Don't worry about that!" Davey called to him. "We sent her the videos. She'll see them." Frosty smiled and nodded while waving her own phone.

"Rockin'!" Roxie called out to them. "That's thinkin' ahead guys! Nice job!"

"That's just how we roll, Radio Girl!" Davey called back. They quickly ran over and hopped up onto the stage to join their friends. 

"Actually this is good timing guys. Do you have anything to drink?" Riot asked. "We were rocking out pretty hard there."

"Got you covered." Frosty responded and used her power to craft cups made out of ice while Davey pulled water from the air, improved it with his power and then poured it into the drinks followed by Frosty handing them over. Riot and Roxie accepted them. 

"Ice cold. Thanks so much." They raised their drinks to their friends and sat back to enjoy them.

"You're welcome. I don't blame you for being thirsty. You were rocking out so hard they probably heard you in The Badlands." Davey joked.

"Dare you to hold your next concert there." Frosty added.

Riot downed the entire drink and then he lowered the ice cup and sighed. "Ahhhh that is refreshing. Don't get me wrong now, it sounds like a cool idea, but there's a reason nobody goes out there."

"He's right. That place is for The Villains. We lock them up there and let the guards take care of them." Adam informed the group as he flew down to join them.

"'Sup wings?"  Roxie greeted him.

"Sup Radio Girl? Awesome concert by the way."

"Awwww thanks! It's one of our best yet and we still have room to top ourselves!"

"You always do."

"Hey man, where were you?" 

"In the sky as usual." Adam responded as he pointed at the sky. "Getting a bird's eye view."

Riot laughed. "Good one."

"Thanks I was working on it. By the way, your mom's proud of you." Adam informed him casually while pointing up into the sky.

Riot and Roxie jumped up to their feet and looked up at their mother who was floating in the air arms crossed covered in electricity and beaming down at her children. 

"MOM!" Roxie called out.

"Did you see us down here? Did you see us rocking out on the stage? Was that fire or what?" Riot asked his mother. 

She just smiled and put up her hands in the Rock 'N Roll Salute: "Rock The Fuck On, Children." 

Riot and Roxie couldn't possibly be happier.

While everyone else was hanging out around the city, or training on a secret military island with a super sniper in Amelia's case, The Starkhaven Siblings were busy having a literal firefight in a training facility!



Phoenix And Flare Starkhaven ran across the room while rapid fire spamming their fireballs at each other like machine gun bullets and releasing lines of blistering flames towards one another while dodging their respective attacks! The fireballs were either striking each other resulting in large explosions in the middle of the room or were dodged and hit the walls resulting in explosions around them or the flame lines struck each other and resulted in the flames shooting upwards into the air and spread out into showers of flames that rained down around the room while the pair continued their firefight.

For their next clash, Phoenix and Flare crossed their arms and called the flames now covering the room to them, surrounded themselves with the flames and then they sent the flames out towards one another! Their waves of flames crashed into each other in the middle of the room resulting in the flames crashing into each other and merging into large balls of fire that built up more and more before exploding outwards! The explosions burst out and surrounded both of them but the Starkhaven Siblings bent the flames to their will, split the explosion in half, wrapped up their fists in flames and then shaped the flames into large rapidly rotating fireballs and ran towards each other.

"COME ON! LETS SEE YOU GET THOSE HANDS UP, BITCH!" Flare shouted at her brother.

"TURN UP THE HEAT ALREADY, MATCHSTICK!" Phoenix yelled back at her.

The air around the pair shimmered with heat as their pyrokinetic abilities flared to life. Flames danced at their fingertips and weaved through the air in intricate patterns that spoke of years of their disciplined training and sibling rivalry.

Phoenix struck first! His hands moved through the air in a series of rapid fluid motions as flames erupted from his palms to form a spiraling dragon that lunged towards Flare with a roar but she countered with a swift kick, her foot encased in a blazing boot of fire! The dragon dissipated in a shower of sparks as her fiery kick met its mark!

Not missing a beat, Flare launched herself into a series of acrobatic, flips and twists, each movement accompanied by bursts of flames that singed the very air around them! Phoenix waited for her to close in and then he met her sudden barrage of attacks with equal vigor! Their martial skills perfectly synchronized with their pyrokinetic powers. They moved like two halves of a whole, their flames intermingling in a dazzling display of light and heat.

The arena became a tempest of fire and motion. Phoenix executed a spinning kick to send a wave of fire towards Flare but she responded by creating a fiery shield that absorbed the impact. She retaliated with a furious flurry of blazing punches, each one sending a jet of flame towards her brother that he dodged and weaved, his own flames lashing out in counterattacks. Their wild personalities shone through in their fighting styles. They were fluid, wild and seemingly unpredictable if you didn't know how to fight them, their agility, power and creativity turning the fight into a breathtaking dance.

Phoenix moved with precision and power, conjuring flames that spiraled around him in controlled arcs. He launched fireballs with deadly accuracy, each strike met with a counterattack from Flare, whose movements were a mesmerizing blend of grace and flames. She twirled and leaped leaving trails of fire in her wake as she unleashed torrents of flames that danced to her every whim.

The battle continued with the siblings weaving in and out of each other's attacks, their martial arts skills seamlessly integrated with their pyrokinetic abilities. Calculated strikes clashed with spontaneous bursts of fire, creating a mesmerizing display of light and heat that illuminated the arena in a dazzling spectacle.

After they jumped backwards from another clash, they smiled and nodded to each other, cupped their hands, brought their hands back, summoned swirling sparking crackling shining balls of fire in their hands and then they thrust their hands outwards and sent out mutual explosive displays of firepower in large wide massive jets of flames that collided in the middle of the room and resulted in a massive explosion, sending a shockwave of fire that engulfed the arena in a blinding burst of light and heat that engulfed the siblings!

The very arena, designed to hold the Starkhaven's as they practiced and trained their powers specifically, rumbled from the blast but held firm. Undeterred by the force of the explosion throwing them both backwards across the arena, they got right back up and went right back at it again!

They met in the middle of the room and began rapidly exchanging their flaming boxing fireball punches with one another at blistering blazing high speed until it just looked the two were rapid firing jets of flame at and past each other! The training room was a raging inferno full of raging smoldering flames and the two of them were still battling it out right in the middle of the blaze like a pair of demons dancing through hellfire! Due to the swirling flames around them and the blurring speed of their flaming arms it was practically impossible to tell who was winning between the two of them and the booming explosions of the fire jets quickly shooting off of their hands obscured their further laughter and how much they were enjoying their battle.

They continued punching each other rapidly while they moved around one another in the middle of the flames as they dodged and weaved each other's fire punches while striking at each other at faster and faster and faster speeds until they ended it with one final haymaker punch that resulted in the fireballs clashing with each other causing the two of them to dig their feet into the floor as they pushed their fireball engulfed arms against one another while increasing the power and heat of their fireballs until they finally exploded and blasted both of them across the training room until they both smashed into the walls! The room shook and trembled from the explosion like a massive bomb went off and the resulting flames expanded outwards and engulfed the entire room from the floor to the ceiling! The flames had now completely swallowed up the room and nothing could be seen inside! 

The fire suppression systems activated throughout the room and the flames inside were soon suppressed causing the room now be consumed steam instead surrounding it in a haze that was soon sucked out so that the researches could finally observe just what in the hell had happened inside! Even before they could fully see what was going on inside though they heard laughter inside from two shadows standing in the middle of the room. As the steam was sucked out of the room the shadows were revealed to be the Starkhaven Siblings standing in the middle of the room with their training suits torn and scorched and tattered from their recent clash with their sleeves blown clear off from the final punching clash. Their hair was a mess and they had scorch marks on the remains of their suits and bruises on their faces, arms and exposed flesh but they were still laughing their asses off about the fight despite both of them being hunched over now. 

"MWA-AAAAAA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! THAT WAS FREAKING GREAT!" Flare declared as she laughed like a madwoman.

"KEHAHAHAHAHAHA! OHHHH THAT WAS FUN! I WOKE UP NEEDING THAT TODAY!" Phoenix added. 

"Mwa-hahahahahaaaaa! Oh that sure as hell wasn't tactical but man was it fun!"

"Ahahahaha! That was so freaking cool! You okay, Flare?"

"I'm fiiiiine! I'm just fiiiiine! Hahahahahahahahahaha! I'm gonna need a break but I'm just fiiiine!"

"Yeah...lets...lets take a break." Phoenix declared and raised his arm up to the researchers to let them know that the pair would be taking a break for a bit to recover.
