Episode 1 "A Storm Is Brewing"
Harry West, a man who prided himself on being a bastion of simplicity, had a daily routine etched into his soul. Each morning, like clockwork, he embarked on a pilgrimage into the wild embrace of Serenity National Park. There, he engaged in the sacred art of cardio exercises. After his holy sweat session, he'd take a few laps down the trail in the loop area. A routine so simple, you'd think it was etched into his DNA. Sometimes, he ventured into this routine of personal fitness alone, communing with the spirits of trees and chirping birds. But occasionally, fate conspired, and he found himself with a partner. This partner, however, had a knack for making him feel like a tortoise in a race with a hare on steroids. That partner was none other than the enigmatic Izumi Quan Sun. Harry was dressed in his trusty sweatshirt and comfortable track pants, as if he was prepared to pivot into a game of bingo at any moment. Izumi, on the other hand, was a vision of athletic prowess. She sported a sleek sports jacket, a sporty tank top that clung to her like it was custom-tailored for the gods of speed, and black track pants that looked ready to break the sound barrier. It was a stark contrast, but in the world of cardio combat, Harry and Izumi were a formidable team, each with their unique flair for victory. "On your left," Izumi teased, breezing past him like a gust of wind with legs. Harry barely had time to process the taunt before she disappeared from sight, leaving only a faint trace of smugness in her wake. But that wasn't going to crush Harry's spirit. No sir. Even in his vintage years, he boasted the stamina of a locomotive on Red Bull. He could outlast any spry, young athlete in the prime of their youth, and he did it with a wicked grin on his face. Obnoxious runners were his favorite prey, and he'd happily put them in their place, showing them that age was just a number. He'd savor the look on their faces, watching the realization dawn that they had just been schooled by a seasoned elder. As for Izumi, she was a different breed entirely. She was older, yes, but on a level that made even Harry's feats seem like a warm-up. Still, that didn't stop him from giving it his all to keep up with her, if only to stave off the humiliation of getting lapped. "Hey, Harry, on your left," Izumi said, breezing past him again. Around the final lap, fatigue began to gnaw at Harry's resolve. He was battered but far from beaten. Adrenaline coursed through his veins, and he could have gone on for another hour if need be. He was in that state of resilience delirium when, once more, he sensed Izumi approaching. "On your left," she announced with a gentle pat on his back, just to remind him who was in charge. In that moment, Harry, as weary as he was, almost empathized with those arrogant young runners he'd left in the dust. Almost.

Been a really long day and I needed some quiet downtime but I'm back! Also, Happy Halloween! Nice wholesome update! Izumi just having some fun with her friends while they have a friendly jog together. Harry's pretty great too. I already like how down to Earth this guy is. He might not be the Physical Beast Chi Master that Izumi is but that doesn't mean he should be underestimated or looked down on. This is gonna be great.
