I manage to catch the Atom Eve special that depicts her origin story and this special did more in an hour than a soulless live-action MCU or DCEU property would ever do in two hours or more. It does help that it was told in animated format but you can still feel the emotion and the pain the main character goes through during her journey in this special episode. To say any more would be spoiling it.
I just find it refreshing to actually see a likable hero character doing heroic things for a change. There's even a moment where it does a sympathy for the villain a whole lot better than MHA ever could have.
This special came to a surprise but it was a well crafted surprise I say.

With how overpowered Marky-Mark is, it's easy to forget how insanely powerful Eve is and grows up to be. She hasn't even started tapping into her real potential yet! I can't remember the last time I saw a Kid Heroine like Eve is in this short and she is insanely awesome! It's like watching the Superpowered Heroic Counterpart to Hit Girl! Sad to see that her Adoptive Parents were always twats though. Talk about beyond stupid! And even Cecil would've called that Government Guy a douchenozzle!
