A luxurious Lemo pulled up at the front entrance of the majestic tower, Jessica Brannon would be lying if she'd say she doesn't feel anxious right now. Even though she's used to being in the presence of a band of brutal killers the ones within this building take it to a whole new level, the best thing she could do to help calm her nerves is to hum
The Imperial March while looking up at the tower.
She hears a familiar laughter from the back seat and then felt two hands placed gently on her arms. "I can just picture someone in the control room commanding a Death Laser from above. Then just before millions of inhabitants could figure out what the hell happened they're snuffed out *snaps her fingers* just like that" Johnny Brannon commented from the back then leans forward, she pulls her sister close to her and rest her chin on the top of her head.
"Not the most accurate quote but spelled out how real that was regardless" Jessica oddly felt a sense of ease, regardless of their nature it felt a little comforting that she'll be with familiar faces there. (Please don't leave me alone in there)
(I won't) Johnny kissed the top of Jess's head. Their tender sibling moment was interrupted by a scoff from the Patriarch of The Brannon family
Jeremiah Brannon, to the average outsider he may look like the typical sitcom suburban dad but it's really a cover to hide a nightmare fuel induced horror that lurks within a seemingly ordinary individual. His cold gaze fixated towards his Granddaughters who instantly straightened in attention. "More like a billion. For a planet that size to house only millions of people they must have done something wrong"
Jessica and Johnny looked in surprise,
"I know cinema ladies. But now isn't the place for that. Consider this a nice learning experience for the two of you. Getting to rub elbows with some high-ranking officials, put your name out there, but remember the golden rule"
"Never show vulnerability" Johnny and Jessica say simultaneously.
"Never. Go with that and you'll always have an edge. Now, go help your Great Grandpa out of the limo"
Outside Jessica Brannon took one last look at the building, she wonders if it was a wise choice for Grandpa to leave her younger sister Jean with Dad and the rest of the family at the farm. But her grandfather assured that nothing will happen to her. He made her father promise that. She made a silent promise to return for her before opening the back of the car. She can hear Johnny wheeling out their great grandfather who sits on a wheelchair.
Just being within five feet of him made the hairs on the back of Jessica's neck stand on end. You'd be forgiven if you mistook him as a zombie. Or some form of Ghoul.
