Summary: In the seedy, supernatural underworld of Ravenwood, former henchman turned rogue,Lucius, sets out on a quest for revenge against his former boss, The Collector. With the help of his wife, a skilled assassin, his dragon best friend, and a mysterious woman with her own motives, Lucius navigates the dangerous and morally ambiguous world of street-level urban fantasy as he works to establish himself as the newest up-and-coming supervillain. But with a paladin brother who holds fast to his own sense of justice and the weight of his past mistakes always on his mind, will Lucius be able to succeed in her dangerous plan, or will his own moral code be her downfall? Main Cast:
Lucius - Former henchman for a supervillain named The Collector. After being left for dead, he now seeks to establish himself as a supervillain and take down The Collector. He is motivated by a desire for power and revenge but is also conflicted by hia loyalty to his wife and brother. Eliza - Wife of Lucius and a professional assassin. He is fiercely loyal to her husband and will stop at nothing to protect him. Her motivation is her love for Lucius, but she also has her own hidden agendas and desires. Dragon - Lucius's best friend and dragon to a dangerous crime lord. She is caught between her loyalty to Lucius and her duty to her employer. She is motivated by a desire to protect her own interests and those of her friends.  Ava - A mysterious woman who enters Lucius's life with a proposition to help him take down The Collector in exchange for an artifact. Her motivations are unclear, and Lucius must decide if he can trust her.  Gabriel - A paladin and all-around good man. He is the brother of Lucius and while their difference in morals causes them to clash, they still care for one another. Gabriel is motivated by his strong sense of justice and morality but also struggles with his love for his brother.

The Setting: Ravenwood-  Ravenwood is a sprawling metropolis with a dark, gothic atmosphere. The city is known for its towering spires, labyrinthine streets, and a mysterious criminal underworld that is rumored to be controlled by supernatural beings. At the heart of Ravenwood lies the "Old Quarter," a labyrinthine neighborhood of narrow alleys and twisting streets that is home to the city's most dangerous criminal elements. Despite the efforts of the police, the Old Quarter is a place of darkness, where strange magic and supernatural forces hold sway. However, Ravenwood is not without its lighter elements. The city is also home to magnificent parks, grand theaters, and beautiful mansions, the latter of which are home to the city's wealthiest and most influential residents. The city is also renowned for its cultural scene, with world-class museums, galleries, and libraries, as well as its vibrant nightlife, which is said to be infused with magic and mystery. Despite its gothic atmosphere, Ravenwood is a city of contrasts, with bright lights and bustling activity alongside dark alleys and hidden dangers. The city is governed by a powerful and secretive council, and its police force is rumored to be in league with the supernatural forces that control the criminal underworld. Ravenwood is a city full of excitement, danger, and mystery, making it the perfect setting for your street-level urban fantasy superhero story.

I like what you're building up with their stories and you've got a good cast for it. I'm curious to see Lucius' vengeance story unfold as he walks the line between the villain on a quest fo rvengeance and the light while still remaining a classy gentleman the whole time! I'm really liking the Gothic Art and style of the Metropolis and it fits the style of the storyline and the characters perfectly! |
