Marriage Story: Peter & MJ

Note: Not exactly a full-blown fic but a fictional trailer that showcases how the break up of Peter and MJ would have gone in my own version of One More Day. Honestly? Makes more sense than what canon gave us.



INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY

Peter and MJ are sitting on a couch, with Peter's arm around MJ. They both look sad.

PETER (Voiceover): We fell in love. We had a beautiful life together.

Cut to a montage of shots showing Peter and MJ together, fighting crime and spending time with each other.

MJ (Voiceover): But then, things started to change.

Cut to a shot of MJ packing her things and leaving their apartment.

PETER (Voiceover): We tried to make it work, but it just fell apart.

Cut to shots of Peter and MJ in court, facing each other with lawyers by their sides.

MJ (Voiceover): Now, we're just two people, fighting to make our way back to each other.

Cut to a shot of Peter and MJ sitting across from each other, looking sad and hopeless.

PETER (Voiceover): This is the story of our marriage.

FADE TO:

Title appears on the screen: "Marriage Story: Peter and MJ"

Yeah, OMD and BND are just utter trash and bs that any improvement upon the material would be better and this one looks like it's going to be a result of simple human error and mistakes that people make which makes it more human and more in line with Peter's life. 

Kinda reminds me of Hobo-Peter's backstory from Spider-Verse in a way. Curious to see what you'll do with it!

"Ha ha ha! This trailer for 'Marriage Story' has got me in stitches! The pain, the sadness, the utter despair on Peter and MJ's faces... it's simply hilarious!

Marriage, pfft! What a joke! It's all just a twisted game, a sick circus act with no real winners. And watching these two web-slinging lovebirds try to put their relationship back together? Oh, it's a show I wouldn't miss for the world!

I'm sure there will be tears, there will be drama, and there will be a whole lot of confusion. But who cares, as long as I get a good laugh out of it, right?

Ha ha ha! This is going to be a scream!"

"Ooh, this trailer for 'Marriage Story' has got me feelin' all the feels! I mean, I can relate to Peter and MJ's struggles, you know? Relationships ain't easy, especially when you're both busy fightin' crime.

But despite all the difficulties, you can just tell how much they love each other. It's just so sweet and heart-wrenching at the same time! I'm sure their journey back to each other will be one wild ride, full of ups and downs.

I can't wait to see how it all plays out! I hope they can work things out and find their way back to each other. They're just too cute not to be together, ya know?

Overall, I think this movie is gonna be a real tear-jerker, and I'm so excited to see it!"
