*"Do you wanna party!"* – a line that perfectly captures the wild, tongue-in-cheek energy of this 1980s cult classic. As someone who's never been all that into the zombie genre, *Return of the Living Dead* managed to surprise me. It’s one of the few films where I actually saw zombies as a genuine threat. Without spoiling too much, let me just say that if these zombies existed in *The Walking Dead* universe, humanity wouldn’t stand a chance. In fact, they’d probably be smart enough to let the humans wipe themselves out and just clean up the survivors. The movie still holds up, especially when it comes to practical effects. I remember watching this as a kid and being terrified by the iconic Tar Man – that gruesome design haunted me for years. The practical effects and make-up from the 80s truly stand the test of time here. What really stands out, though, is how this movie makes you root for characters you wouldn’t expect. Unlike *Texas Chainsaw Massacre*, where you're often left hoping the worst for certain characters, *Return of the Living Dead* flips the script. By the end, I found myself cheering for a gang of Punkers, something I never thought I'd do. If you're feeling nostalgic and in the mood for a horror movie that doesn’t just rely on cheap scares but actually makes the zombies feel interesting and dangerous, *Return of the Living Dead* is a must-watch. It’s a classic in all the right ways. A kick ass soundtrack is also a plus for this film

BRAINS FOR EVERYONE! One of the greatest Zombie Horror Films in history! Stands among the greats like F13 Part 6 for me (He becomes a Zombie in that one! It counts!). Seriously, this movie is pure win and one of the gold standards for Zombies. Can't get much more dangerous than these unless you're bringing in The Deadites.
