vs Crimson Avenger crouched low in the shadows, her Crimson Archer armor blending seamlessly with the night. The muffled thuds of fireworks echoed off the narrow alley walls, their vivid colors casting fleeting bursts of light on the brick facades. Perfect. Her prey's panicked footsteps grew louder, reverberating in the confined space. Avenger's lips curled into a smirk. "Just a bit closer now," she murmured, her voice barely audible over the distant celebratory booms. Bloodhound, the villain, was formidable—heightened speed, strength beyond any normal human, and a monstrous ability to assume the forms of others by consuming their blood. But Amelia knew even monsters had weaknesses. Bloodhound's enhanced senses, usually an advantage, had become a liability. The fireworks filled the air with the sulfurous stench of rotten eggs—a smell that would scramble even the sharpest senses. A sharp breath of anticipation caught in Avenger's throat as she watched her target stumble. The villain’s heightened faculties, dulled by the overwhelming sensory assault, left her disoriented. Perfectly played. Bloodhound staggered, her balance faltering as the combination of sulfur and explosive noise turned her into a vulnerable, floundering mess. "Should've stayed home tonight, Bloodhound," Avenger called out, her voice echoing off the walls. Bloodhound snarled, trying to locate the source of the taunt, her hands clenching into fists. "You think you’re so clever, Archer? You’re just another obstacle in my way!" "Obstacle? I was going for more like a impenetrable force field at best," Amelia shot back, her fingers deftly pulling a Trick Arrow from her quiver—a Stinkbomb Arrow. Her sisters had once laughed at the idea, but Amelia knew its value. Against someone like Bloodhound, it was a game-changer. With a smooth motion, she drew the arrow and loosed it. The projectile arced gracefully through the air, its barbed tip finding its mark on Bloodhound’s shoulder. The arrow exploded in a cloud of rancid gas, the stench thick enough to cling to the skin. Bloodhound screamed, her enhanced senses overwhelmed by the stinking miasma that enveloped her. "You’ll pay for that!" Bloodhound choked out between gasps, her voice thick with fury and nausea. "Maybe, but not today, You’re a villain of the week at best " Avenger replied coolly, already nocking another arrow. The sulfur, the stink, the cacophony of fireworks—they were all tools, part of a carefully laid trap. Bloodhound was flailing, her steps erratic as she tried to escape the cloud of stink. Each motion more desperate than the last. A flash of light in the corner of her eye signaled the arrival of more trouble. A shadowy portal rippled into existence, and out stepped Side-Step, Twister and Compress, with Kuro following close behind. Avenger’s smirk widened. They had no idea what they were walking into. "Hey Bloodhound, your friends always this punctual? They’re just in time for the encore," Avenger quipped, pivoting swiftly and firing off another arrow—a laser tripwire, triggered the moment Twice set foot on the rooftop. “Encore this!” Twister shouted, lunging forward only to have his foot snagged by a High-Tech Caltrop. Electricity surged through him, sending him sprawling to the ground in a convulsive heap. "Not my best audience," Avenger sighed dramatically, before releasing a Flashbang Arrow. The explosion of light and sound hit the rooftop crew hard, throwing them into disarray. Bloodhound struggled to stand, her movements sluggish, eyes watering, nose dripping. "This isn’t over, Archer!" Avenger paused, briefly contemplating the mess below. "Oh, I’m sure it’s not. But for now, you’re all wrapped up, and I’ve got a hideout to find." With that, she released a grapple arrow, launching herself upward to a higher perch, leaving the incapacitated villains writhing below. As she soared through the air, her eyes locked onto the spot where the arrow had disappeared into Kuro’s portal. A beacon pulsed from beyond, a signal she had expertly planted. The Alpha Paragon's would have no trouble tracking it. Bloodhound’s time was up, whether she realized it or not. Avenger’s quiver rattled as she landed, another arrow already in hand, poised to strike. "See you around, Bloodhound," she called out into the wind, her voice light with amusement. "Maybe you’ll get promoted to villain of the month next time." That final comment just made Bloodhound's ,pun intended, blood boil. "YOU ARROGANT PARAGON B***!!! THIS ISN'T OVER! NEXT TIME I SEE YOU I'LL PLANT MY FOOT UP YOUR PLUMP-" The portal closes behind Crimson Avenger before Bloodhound could curse more obscenities at her. Note: And just like that we have a nemesis! So thinking about it I decided to make the Paragon Institute world its own thing rather than taking place within the Serenity Verse. The reason being is that they both have their own respective tone. Plus the Serenity Verse is established enough to where I couldn't fully justify the Paragon Institute's existence. Also I'm already building up an arc that showcase the next generation of heroes in The Serenity Verse anyways.

Definitely the good laugh I needed after the nightmare fuel of Romulus! This is the opening Amelia deserved! An awesome way to set up her archnemesis all while she's styling on other bum villains at the same time! Awesome opening bro!

"I'll say this, her debut is making the Paragon Highlight Reel that's for sure" Kid Paragon comments as he and Bloody Sunday view Crimson Avenger's outing on the monitor in the labs of the Alpha Paragon's HQ. Kid Paragon"Mmm" Bloody Sunday comments while taking a sip of her coffee. "Is that your detailed evaluation" K.P. glanced at his, ironically enough, younger sister. "We shall see. The fact that she survived her first outing at all is impressive enough" Bloody Sunday noted. "She just lacks the key ingredient that would really make her stand out" "Say no more, yet she'll receive that through-" Bloody Sunday sighed, "Fine. Besides I am intrigued as to how her training under us will turn out. She'll either prove the doubters wrong or prove that Mundanes are only meant for one thing."

"That's never been my specialty. Whether we're fighting or training the kids. It's sink or swim with me. If she wants to prove herself worthy of her family name then she'll have to be prepared to put in the work." "That's fair. But somehow, I think she'll be more than up for the challenge."

All she needs is to use it in a way to throw her opponents off their game" Kid Paragon placed the video of Mia's debut in a file and ended the feed.

The Blood Siblings being tough professionals suits them so perfectly! K.P. being the older of the two despite his appearance gives him the same vibes as Five though K.P. is more reigned in and focused on the job while Seraphina is hard but fair which again suits her cold professional personality. So nice to see these two interacting together again!

At the base within a modified Clock Tower Mia was glomped by her older sister Caroline North(Star-Child to others) "That was awesome, Sis! I knew you had it in you" Despite her powers Caroline had enough control of her abilities to not cause any physical harm to her younger sister. She lets Mia go and pats her on the back, "How do you feel" "Like the insides of my stomach are doing acrobatics but pretty good" Amelia smiled, removing her hood. "I know a certain Rogue won't forget your debut that's for sure" her 2nd eldest sister congratulated with a slight laugh Mia laughed with her, a thought ring in her head regarding her encounter with Bloodhound. "What's up" Caroline asked Mia looked behind her, "Is my Butt as plump as she say it is" Note: For the life of me the name of Mia's other older sister escapes me

Cali levitated her phone and looked at it. "Oof, yeah, according to recent polls it's like a giant ripe peach." 🍑 "WHAT? GIMME THAT!" Amelia lunged at her but Cali laughed and teleported out of the way to another position in the room. "Gotta be faster than that!" "Oh, we playing keep away again? Alright, BET!" She quickdrew a boomerang arrow and launched at Cali. She laughed and teleported again. "Missed again!" "Or did I?" Amelia asked with a smirk as the boomerang arrow circled around the room.

"Hey you could always take it as a compliment. Besides, you beat her, take the win and forget about her." She raised her hand up and stopped the arrow but Amelia immediately launched another soft arrow at it, causing it to bump into the boomerang arrow which flew forward and lightly bopped Cali in the face. "Hey!" "You know what? You're right. I will take the win." She responded and stuck her tongue out. "Alright, alright, you get one but I'm gonna get you back later for that."

After Mia fist-bumped both of her older siblings, she retrieved her cell phone from the living room table, her fingers already typing as she headed upstairs to change. Caroline watched her go, noting how much Mia had grown, both physically and mentally, since she embraced the path of a Paragon. Mia’s stride had that confident edge now, a reflection of the weight she carried—not just the responsibilities of her role, but also the complexities of her friendships. And she has blossom into a young woman who'd have more than her share of suitors.
It didn’t take an esper to figure out who Mia was messaging. Dante and Stephen had been her friends for years, practically since they were in diapers. Despite their different backgrounds—Dante with his structured upbringing, Stephen with his wild streak—they had always been a steadying influence on Mia. And she, in turn, had been a beacon for them, her fierce loyalty and quick wit keeping the trio close-knit. But Caroline couldn't shake the nagging thought: if a Rogue like Bloodhound could sense those ties, then it was only a matter of time before someone else did too.
Caroline sighed, trying to push that thought away. She was just being paranoid, right?
“You’re doing it again,” Cali’s voice broke through her musings, light and teasing.
“Doing what?” Caroline asked, glancing over her shoulder.
Cali gave her a knowing look. “Oh, come on, Carly. Little sis isn’t so little anymore, and she’s BFFs with two guys. Those protective older sister alarms are blaring loud and clear.”
Caroline opened her mouth to protest but closed it just as quickly. Cali wasn’t wrong. Mia was growing up, and there were parts of her life that Caroline couldn’t always shield her from. She just had to hope that the bonds Mia had forged would be enough to keep her safe.

A well known and relatable scene: Seeing a sibling or loved one growing up and becoming independent. Amelia is growing into a young woman and her own brand of superheroine right in front of her sisters eyes while taking her first steps into the family's superhero world, which they all know how dangerous that can be for them and others. She'll be facing villains, alongside her friends and even alone, and she'll have to rise up to these challenges. Amelia's story is about growing up and becoming an adult, it's a coming of age superhero story, and how that affects herself and her loved ones as they all grown and change together.
