Raymond 'Stingray' Porter huffed for breath as he dragged himself home. He was exhausted. Completely and utterly exhausted and mentally spent. Sensei had apparently been in a mood today and took it out on Raymond by working him like a dog all day long. From down to dusk he'd been trained harder than ever before and pushed to his limits. Raymond was pretty sure he didn't even learn anything in particular, not like the rest of the students were, Sensei just felt like picking on him today. Just like yesterday. And the day before that. And the day before that. And the day before...it was a constant loop. Even Johnny and Kreese, harsh as they were, had never pushed Raymond like this....but he didn't say anything. He didn't dare say a single word. Not even when Sensei was taunting him, not when his fellow students were making fun of him, not when they were joking about their attacks on kids around The Valley, or even the disturbing anecdote he'd overheard about The Cobras jumping and beating up, apparently rather badly, some kid who'd just been talking to 'That Lapusso Kid', he didn't say anything about any of it...because he knew all too well about what would happen if he upset Sensei Silver...
SO! Raymond just grin and bore it regardless of how badly everyone treated him. At least he was on the winning side. At least he had a place to belong. Raymond continued his trudge down the cold dark Valley Streets until he reached a convenience store, walked inside and bought himself a smoothie. It was a little thing but it made him feel better. A comfort drink that lifted his spirits and helped him to think that maybe his life wasn't completely hopeless. Raymond slowly gradually made his way back to his apartment, made his way inside, shut the door and collapsed on the couch. He let out a long audible sigh and turned on the TV while he finished his smoothie. Raymond didn't say anything for the longest time. He just sat there flipping through channels until he finally found a Comedy Movie and he sat there and enjoyed it. It finally brought a smile back to his face and he straightened up and relaxed. He let himself smile and laugh again. After the long hard week he'd been having? It felt good to just sit back and relax and laugh again in the privacy of his own apartment. Away from the Cobra Kai Dojo. Away from Sensei Silver. Away from his fellow students. Away from everyone and in the privacy of his own little world. Sure it was all paid for by Sensei but it still let him relax and unwind and laugh again. After kicking back and letting his smiles return, he set aside the now empty smoothie and walked into his bathroom for a long relaxing shower to rinse off the pain and stink of the day and refresh himself.
LATER!
Raymond, now refreshed and relaxed, turned on some rock music while he heated up a TV Dinner and then took it back out, placed it on a tray and sat down in front of the TV again to sit back and watch some more movies and wind down. It felt good. It felt good to let go and laugh at the world. Let them laugh at him, let them laugh and poke fun and threaten and jeer and insult him. This was his own little world and nobody could get inside. Nobody could get him in here. He could relax and just be himself. He didn't even have to be himself Stingray here. HE just had to be Raymond Porter: Karate Extraordinaire And All Around Cool Guy.
But even this freedom to laugh and enjoy himself was ripped away when the lights in his apartment suddenly went out. A complete and total blackout that suddenly knocked the power out and drowned him in the darkness all over again. "Huh...that's random. There a storm outside? Shortage? It wasn't me!" He joked while putting aside his meal and dragging himself back up. He began carefully making his way through his apartment towards the kitchen to retrieve his flashlight. He made it into the kitchen and he began fumbling around through the various shelves to find where he'd put it when he heard the all too familiar sound of a door creaking open down the hallway and he immediately bolted upright.
"...Hello?"

He made it into the kitchen and he began fumbling around through the various shelves to find where he'd put it when he heard the all too familiar sound of a door creaking open down the hallway and he immediately bolted upright. "...Hello?" No answer. "HELLO?!" He called out again, louder this time. Still no answer. He cautiously walked around the corner and shined his flashlight down the hallway but he didn't see anything. "Sensei? Is that you? If you're trying to scare me you're doing a good job!" He called out his compliment but there still wasn't an answer. He gulped and then he began walking down the hallway towards his bedroom. "Come on now! Who's out there, huh? Who is it? Kyler? Is this you again? Because I swear to GOD! If you're messing with me again I'm throwing you out the window this time! I swear it! I'll do it man! Right out the window!" He called out to the darkness and he straightened up now that he was finding his confidence again. "Yeah! Yeah that's right! You don't want to mess with The Stingray! I won Coyote Creek you know! Even took down the former All Valley Champ! So you don't wanna mess with me! I'm a very dangerous man! My hands are lethal weapons and I move like Steven Seagull! Check this sick move out!" He yelled out a loud kiai as he performed a completely random somersault roll and landed on one leg and placed his hand down to grab something on the floor. He looked down and shined his light on the object to discover...his broken smashed cellphone laying on the floor underneath his hand. "...what the hell?" A pair of pitch black jeans and boots entered his view and he looked back up. "T-Tory? Is..is that you?" He asked hopefully as he slowly began climbing back up to his feet as he raised his flashlight to reveal the black clad silhouette of the visitor. He had no idea what he was looking at here. The intruder was dressed in a simple plain all black ensemble. Black boots, black jeans, a black belt, black gloves and a black turtleneck. He finished rising to his feet and finally got a good look at the intruder's face...or lack of it. The intruder's face was obscured by a ghastly ghostly plain white porcelain doll mask. The mouth of the mask was frozen in a wide ghoulish smile and the eyes were disturbingly wide black holes without any light or sign of the intruder's eyes within them. The intruder's mask was framed by a wig of brown hair worn in a bobcut. Even as he stared down the intruder she just stood there. Silently and motionless. She coldly stared him down as Raymond tried to understand whor what the hell he was looking at. "...You're not Tory." Raymond commented quietly. He was about to ask the natural question as to just who the hell she was when pain exploded against the back of his legs and Raymond collapsed to the carpeting below screaming in pain! The flashlight fell from his hand to once again leave the hallway shrouded in darkness barring the illuminated floor. Dolly then silenced his screams with a ball of Stingray's own socks she pulled out of her pocket and shoved into his mouth followed by slowly crouching down and turning off the flashlight before slowly rising back up. While something long and hard crashed into Stingray and he fell back against the wall. He screamed into his gag but it was muffled now. He desperately reached for it but Dolly, he assumed it was her, grabbed his hand, shoved it aside, grabbed his shirt, and then she began savagely thrashing him while the other attacker soon joined in on the assault. Despite all his skill, despite all his training, despite all his practice, he never even had the chance to fight back. Disabled as he was from the sneak attacks, he was left laying there on the floor, slumped against the wall, being brutally pummeled by his assailants as the darkness took him and he was left with Sensei Terry Silver's words echoing through his ears with each and every punch crashing against him. Again and again and again.
You wanna be Cobra Kai?!
You wanna be Cobra Kai?!
You wanna be Cobra Kai?!
You wanna be Cobra Kai?!
You wanna be Cobra Kai?!
You wanna be Cobra Kai?!
You wanna be Cobra Kai?!
You wanna be Cobra Kai?!
You wanna be Cobra Kai?!
You wanna be Cobra Kai?!
You wanna be Cobra Kai?!
You wanna be Cobra Kai?!
The darkness swallowed Raymond and the world around him faded away. His flashlight was picked up and returned to the kitchen and placed back inside of its shelf which was slowly closed back up while the remains of the cell phone were scooped up and placed in a little ziplock bag which was subsequently placed inside of a pocket. Soon after a black bag was placed over Stingray's head followed by his hands and legs being duck taped together. The two intruders carried him out of the apartment. Leaving no sign of their attack and subsequent abduction. Raymond was thrown into the trunk of a truck and they closed it on him. The pair then got into the backup of the truck while simultaneously removing their masks, buckling up and leaning back against the backs of their seats while fist bumping each other. The driver turned on the engine and drove away from the scene of the crime. When en-route to their destination a window lowered down and the ziplock bag opened back up and the remains of the phone were dribbled out onto the street and then the bag was pulled back into the truck and the window rolled back up. The already destroyed remains of the phone would later be run over and destroyed further by the completely unaware civilians of The Valley.
