Vladmir walked out of the backroom and quickly walked up to the front desk and tapped it. "Hello again sir. Did everything go alright in there?" "Everything went as planned but...I'd like to buy a sword anyway." "Then you're in luck! We have weapons and trinkets to spare! Feel free to pick out whatever you like!" Vlad looked around the store and quickly spotted one that caught his eye and he walked right over to it and lifted it up off of its holder and he brought it back over to the desk. A long, narrow, straight blade made of crystal is held by a grip wrapped in low-cost, green shark skin. The blade has a barbed, curved cross-guard, which makes sure the blade is both balanced and capable of protecting the owner's hands against any sliding sword. The cross-guard has an ornamented eye on each side, this is clearly a weapon not meant to be wielded by a commoner. A fairly large pommel is marked with the sword maker's signature, a famous symbol and rightfully so. The blade itself is fairly simple. No markings, no decorations and no engravings. While the hilt is as elegant as its owner, the blade has to be as strong as its owner. "This one will do nicely." He told them. "What do you call it?" "Peacekeeper, The Diamond Crusader. We found it at The Crystal Creek Falls on The Sparkling Island." "What? Seriously? No way! I've never even been there! It's not exactly somewhere that Vampires can go." "Trust me sir, the pictures don't do it justice. The Dazzling Augecophoenicite lights up the island in a way that words alone cannot describe. It's like a bunch of naturally occuring Dawn Crystals!" Vlad laughed. "Yeah. That's why my kind can't go there. Dawn Crystals aren't exactly good for us. But I would love to hear more about it later. Can you ring this baby up?" "Gladly!" - After purchasing the sword he 'sheathed' it in his belt and stepped back out into the sunlight. He felt it depower him all over again and then he walked through the town until he finally spotted the Captain Of The Guard Rocky Langston making his rounds through the town. From the outside, the tall imposing gentleman with the slicked bacck black hair was wearing a fancy classy bright blue uniform with several gold buttons, black gloves and boots with gold lines, gold shoulder pads, a stylish black belt with a gold coin in the middle, the Graveblade Family Crest worn on his chest, and a sheathe for his sword. The real uniform, the body armor of the Graveblade Guards, was worn underneath his outfit. It was a combination of magic and technology that protected them and provided them with enhanced abilities. "Rocky! Hey! How's it going?" Vlad greeted him. "A good afternoon to you, Prince Vladmir! My day is going perfectly! How about you?" "Going great so far but we're about to get some potentially unwanted company. We've got flocks of Tengas incoming. I want you to prepare the guards. Just in case." Rocky's expression turned from joyous to calm and composed. "Yes sir. Right away." "Thank you Rocky. Hopefully this will turn out to be nothing but that hasn't been my experience with Tengas. Tell your men to take up positions within the town and be prepared to guide the civilians into safety but don't make a move just yet. If they do come in peace we'll welcome them in. If not? We'll kick them right back out of Graveblade." Vladmir walked to the middle of the town to wait for the arrival of the Tengas while the town guards moved throughout the town subtly guiding everyone inside while they took their own positions in the town just in case the creatures decided to pick a fight. The synchronized flapping of the many Tengas wings echoed through the sky as they grew closer and closer to Graveblade and Vladmir could finally catch their stench. It was particularly fowl: Tengas were well known to reek of spoiled fish left out to rot in the heat of a hot summer day but it was something else entirely to catch a whiff of it when you have super senses like Vladmir. Vlad growled but managed to withstand it. The Tengas finally reached Graveblade and they began flying around in circles above the town squawking like mad. There was certainly a lot of them. Enough that they were blocking out the sun above the town. Vladmir wasn't going to complain about that of course so he just waited for them to finally touch down on the ground. "Hello up there! You guys want to come down and talk or are you going to fly around all day?" He called up to them. The Tengas squawked and cawed in response as the flew back down and began landing in random spots throughout the town, either on the ground or on top of roofs while the majority of them landed in the center of the town and surrounded Vladmir. "Nice entrance there. You're Tengas right? Tell me. What brings whole entire flocks of you guys to our little town? Remember to choose your words carefully." He told them cheerfully. "RAAWWWW! We're on the job, Batty-boy!" A high pitched Tenga cawed at him. "We're here to tear up the town and you along with it!" Another chimed in. "Yeah, I figured as much. But it's going to take a whole lot more than you birdbrains to pull that off." "RAAAAWWW! You didn't think we came alone do you?" "Oh?" Suddenly multiple red and orange flashing portals appeared throughout the town! Vladmir turned around to look at them and narrowed his eyes. "Hell Portals? There's a lot of them but they're small. So what could they be bringing out?" He got his answer when multiple slim, slender, humanoid demons dressed in black and red bodysuits with horned helmets with red eyes and small batwings on their backs suddenly leaped out of the portals and landed on their feet. They took out small swords and squared off with Vladmir and the guards. "Batlings, huh? I thought you guys were wiped out with The Bansheera Family." He shrugged and returned his focus to the Tengas. "Now listen up. That was a nice entrance and all that but you guys don't have the slimmest chance of beating us. So I'm going to give you one chance to stop all this nonsense and run back home. Take it or die." "RAAAAAWWWW! You're the only one who's going to die when we pick your bones cle-" Vlad cut the Tenga off by driving his fist into the Tenga's chest and knocked it right off of its feet. "If that's the way you want it then will give you the fight of your lives." Vlad declared and drew his new sword and pointed at the Tengas and Batlings surrounding him. "LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED!" The Tengas squwaked and screeched as they went on the attack with the Batlings from all around him but Vlad was faster than they expected and he immediately began counterattacking! He parried and deflected the swords from the batlings and swipes from the Tegnas while dodging around them expertly. He weaved and evaded their attacks from all angles while parrying and deflecting their attempts to attack him back easily. He might be weaker in the sunlight but Vlad still had over a century of combat training and experience to back him up and he was about to unleash it all on this trash mob. He continued evading for a little bit longer, bobbing and weaving around his opponents until he found an opening and he suddenly turned around, deflected a pair of slashes from a batling and then he quickly struck it down, slashed it and cut it open with a bloody diagonal slash! Demonic blood sprayed out of the batling and onto Vlad and his sword. He smiled and licked it off of his face while slashing upwards again and cut into the batling again and cut into it all over again and eliminated the batling. He immediately turned around and raised the sword up to counter more attacks from behind him. Their blades and claws clanged off of his sword while Vlad backed up and he began maneuvering around them, slipping and dodging around their attacks while he cut them down. Fighting Vladmir was like fighting a phantom! He was just dodging and evading everything around him while continuing to quickly and ruthlessly cut them down. He dodged around a tenga's wild furious swipes, got behind it and then he stabbed backwards to impale it on his sword, twisted it and then he tore it back out to bring it up to parry the batlings swords, counter their sword slashes, deflect them and then he quickly ran past them, cutting them down by slashing and gutting them and downing that group of batlings. Another group of tengas took to the skies, flew around and then they began divebombing towards him! Vlad saw them coming however and then he turned back around, impaled a batling, yanked its swords away, twirled them and then he turned back around and flung them into the heads of two of the tengas! They crashed to the ground but the others were still coming at him so Vlad quickly yanked his sword back out of the batling and swiftly dodged the oncoming sweeping divebombs from the tengas but then he got back up and cut through the last oncoming tenga's side, split it open, and he stood back up as it crashed to the ground. Vlad licked the blood off of the sword and then he turned back around to the rest of the army moving to surround him again. He tapped his foot and smiled. Fitting for how he called the fight a party, Vlad was moving like a dancer. He combined elaborate defensive movements with well-timed offensive attacks to cut them down. After all, ,any of the attributes that make a good dancer, strength, endurance, grace, balance, rhythm, timing, physical presence, are also found in warriors and Vlad combined these aspects into the current style he'd decided to utilize against this mob: The Shadowblade Sword Dance!

After all, ,any of the attributes that make a good dancer, strength, endurance, grace, balance, rhythm, timing, physical presence, are also found in warriors and Vlad combined these aspects into the current style he'd decided to utilize against this mob: The Shadowblade Sword Dance! Vlad kept right on tearing through the Tengas and Batlings! His fluid flowing dancelike movements letting him dodge around the attacks of the alien birds and demonic underlings even when they were attacking him from all sides with his complex footwork and deflections with his sword allowing him to cut through his opponents while he continued to dodge them. It was like trying to catch a phantom that was freely cutting through them! The blood of the Tengas and Batlings sprayed and splattered through the air while Vlad kept right on going. While Vladmir was putting in work and slaughtering everything around him the guards were defending the people the swarms of Tengas and Batlings rushed towards them but the guards were not intimidated in the least. Thanks to their years of training and their magitech enhancements they were more than a match for the invaders. Their swords clashed with the blades of the Batlings and the claws of the Tengas but their opposition was caught off guard by just how strong the guards were! They were actually able to not only hold their ground but force them backwards, deflecting their attacks aside and striking them down before they moved on to their next opponent. The guards defended themselves expertly like the master swordsmen they were in the battle. Rocky used his sword to parry the combined sword slashes of a couple of Batlings, deflected them and then swiftly cut them both down before he turned around and cut the hands of a pair of Tengas trying to grab him and then he stepped in and cut them down, his sword ripping into their chests and splitting the Tenga Warriors open, and then he ran past them and attacked the others. He ran into the crowd dodging and weaving around their attacks while cutting and hacking them down with skill and ferocity that would have you believe he's like a man possessed! During all of this he caught the sight of a few of them aiming spears at him from a rooftop and after cutting down another pair of monsters he turned right back around and cut the spears out of the air! Then he ran back across the battlefield, leaped into the air, landed on top of the building's roof and he quickly and deftly cut down The Batlings around him. A female guard, Antoinette Santos, leaped down from a rooftop and landed on top of one of the Tengas and impaled it with her sword through the head with her sword, pulled it back out, and then she quickly backstepped to avoid being cut by the Batlings. She then continued to dodge around their attacks briefly before she suddenly went on the attack again, violently battering them with her sword and cutting them down. Seeing a couple of Tengas trying to batter down a door where the citizens were hiding she immediately made a beeline for it, even running across the walls to get past the swarms of monsters around her, closing the distance between them and then she leaped towards the Tengas and landed a brutal flying dropkick on the first Tenga that hit it so hard that it was pushed into the others next to it and the impact sent all of them flying off of their feet and caused them to crash into a group of the monsters and knocking all of them down! Leopoldo ran through the streets quickly and deftly cutting down the invading monsters while dodging around them with a series of acrobatic maneuvers and dodges. Much like Vladmir he moved with fluidity and grace, spinning and twirling his blade in intricate patterns that left his opponents bewildered and unable to anticipate his movements. His movements were like poetry in motion that elegantly moved between attacks and defenses like a graceful dancer on stage. He spun rapidly with his blade extended outward to create a whirlwind of steel that deflected incoming attacks and combined these movements with rapid circular cuts that bloomed outwards like the petals of lotus flowers all while incorporating quick steps and flips to dodge around their attempts at retaliation even bouncing off the area around him to dance around them. Katrice meanwhile flipped up onto the roof a building, landed on her feet and then she turned around to face the enemies again. She raised her sword up and hit a hidden button on it. This caused the blade to open up into two halves and retract to reveal the inside of a gun barrel. An ammo clip extended downwards and the hilt of the sword opened up to reveal the butt of a rifle! She double-checked to make sure that the others and the civilians were clear of the area and then she began shooting them down and spraying energy bullets down on them! The invaders were quickly gunned down by the barrage of blaster fire and then she hit another button and returned her sword to normal before she jumped back down into the fray!

The invaders were quickly gunned down by the barrage of blaster fire and then she hit another button and returned her sword to normal before she jumped back down into the fray! The town wasn't the only place in danger either. While they were all busy fighting it out throughout the entire large town, flocks of Tengas circled around and came flocking at the castle with the Batlings riding on their backs but the Castles Defenders were more than ready for them. Penelope stood tall and strong on top of the castle with Silver to her right, Sclera on her left and The Phantasms behind them. Vincent meanwhile waited for them on the ground with the Animated Suits Of Armor standing behind him. "Just look at that. Lambs to the slaughter. Whoever sent these simpletons to our castle obviously didn't do their research. Putain roi des cons, va te faire cuire un ceuf! Go forth now, Phantasms! Take up your new shells." "Yeeessssss MA'AM!" The Phantasms wailed as they flew up into the air and spread out. Their ghostly bodies stretched out like rubber bands as they flew towards the alien birds like rockets and quickly collided with, and phased into, them! The birds screeched in terror as they began falling down to the castle below while spinning around rapidly causing The Batlings to be thrown clear off of them resulting in them being flung down to the top of the castle with them! "Argent!" "Ch-Ch-CHEEEESE!" He laughed and summoned a pair of cutlasses and then he flew into the air to dart around the sky slashing at the falling Batlings to slice and dice them. Several of them were knocked out of the air this way and were sent plummeting to the castle. The instant they crashed down they were webbed up by the web bombs that Penelope released. This left them vulnerable to the now possessed Tengas. Once the possessed space birds landed down on their feet they pounced upon the immobilized batlings and they began pecking and clawing at their trapped prey in a mad fury. The first wave had been dealt with but the ground forces were currently charging the castle and another flock of Tengas was coming down for them from the sky. Vincent stood strong as he waited for the horde of Batlings to charge them head-on. Vincent responded to this by summoning The Sword Of Power and raising it to the sky. Golden energy bolts crackled around the sword and then he smirked and jabbed his sword into the ground. Golden energy bolts crackled along the ground and then the very Earth beneath the Batlings shuddered, a low, guttural growl emanating from its depths, growing louder with every passing second. It began as a faint murmur beneath the surface, a distant grumble that reverberated like the awakening of an ancient beast. Then, with a deafening roar, the ground split and shifted, a violent cacophony of grinding stone and cracking earth. The roar surged in waves, an unstoppable force that drowned out screams and sirens alike. The sound was primal, relentless—an ancient voice of chaos echoing through the air, demanding attention. It was not merely a sound but a presence, filling the air with a pressure that pressed against the chest, stealing breath and freezing motion. The earth bellowed its rage, its cracks and upheavals forming a symphony of destruction. And still, the roar persisted, carrying with it the terrifying promise of nature’s unstoppable power. The Earth split open with a horrifying roar into a massive hellish chasm! The Batlings who didn't realize what was about to happen fell into the gap flailing their arms as fire and lightning surged out of it to fry their bodies. The chasm then closed up around them while they were being cooked alive by the surging flames and crackling lightning and crushed them into pulp. The surviving Batlings, the ones who'd been smart enough to expand their wings and take to the air, flew up and above the chasm and away from the surging flames and flashing lightning. Once the initial attack was taken care of Vincent signaled the Knights, Intricately Designed Suits Of Armor possessed by the Ghosts of The Castle. They road forward past Vincent on Ghostly Horses. The Ghost Horses flew into the air as the knights drew their swords and halberds and began slashing and stabbing and impaling the Demons around them! The Army Of Animated Armors brutally slayed the Demonic Bats without mercy, without restraint, with ruthless efficiency. The blood of The Demons poured down upon the Earth below.
