Author's Note: This is a story I've constructed that showcases how I personally felt Carry On should have ended. Now I don't mind the ending. I thought it fit the brothers but I felt that something was missing. So I thought I'd fill in that void.
Sam and Dean Winchester have spent their entire lives hunting monsters, but nothing could prepare them for the case that would change everything. As they investigate a small town where a group of vampires has been abducting and raising children as a food source, they find themselves in the middle of a brutal fight. In the end, Dean is impaled and dies in Sam's arms.
Sam is inconsolable as he gives Dean a hunter's funeral and goes about his daily routine in the Bunker. But just as he begins to accept that his brother is truly gone, he receives a call from a police officer in Austin about bodies with missing hearts.
Sam knows what he has to do. He packs up his things and leaves the Bunker, turning off the lights as he goes. He is driven by a need for justice and a desire to avenge his brother's death.
As Sam travels to Austin, he is plagued by memories of his brother and the life they shared together as hunters. But he is also driven by a sense of purpose and a determination to bring the vampires to justice.
In Austin, Sam finds himself in the middle of another brutal fight, but this time he emerges victorious. As he stands over the bodies of the vampires, he can't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. But it is a hollow victory, as he knows that his brother will never be coming back.
As Sam returns to the Bunker, he finds that it is now dark and empty. He can't help but feel a sense of loss and loneliness. He sits down in Dean's chair, and as he looks around the room, he can almost see his brother's ghostly presence.
But just as he is about to give up hope, Sam receives another call. This time, it is from Dean himself. It turns out that Dean has been reunited with Bobby Singer, John Winchester and other loved ones in Heaven. Bobby tells Dean that Jack and Castiel have changed Heaven to be a place where they can all live together happily, and that time works differently there.
Sam is overcome with emotion as he realizes that his brother is truly in a better place. And as he hangs up the phone, he knows that one day they will be reunited.
As he leaves the Bunker and walks into the night, Sam is filled with a sense of peace. He knows that his journey as a hunter is not over, but he also knows that he will always carry Dean with him in his heart. And as he drives off into the sunset, he can't help but smile as he knows that Dean is Carry On.
Sam stood in front of a glass case at the museum, gazing at the ancient artifacts inside. He had taken a break from hunting monsters and decided to spend his week off visiting the museum. As he walked through the galleries, he felt a tap on his shoulder.
He turned around to see a woman with long brunette hair, wearing a smile that was both familiar and foreign. "Sam?" she said.
"Jessica?" Sam replied, his voice barely above a whisper.
"Yes, it's me," she said, her eyes shining with tears.
Sam's mind raced as he tried to make sense of what was happening. The last time he saw Jessica, she had been killed by the Yellow-Eyed demon. He couldn't believe she was standing in front of him, alive and well.
"What are you doing here?" he asked, still trying to wrap his head around it all.
"Jack brought me back," Jessica explained. "Your brother, Dean, asked him to."
Sam's eyes filled with tears as he remembered his brother, who had died in a battle with vampires. "Dean is gone," he said, his voice breaking.
"I know," Jessica said, placing a hand on his arm. "But he's happy now. He's with Bobby and your father, and they're all together in a better place."
Sam closed his eyes and took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. "I can't believe it," he said. "I thought I'd never see you again."
"I know, Sam," Jessica said, pulling him into a hug. "But here I am. And I'm not going anywhere."
As they held each other, Sam realized that even though his brother was gone, he still had a piece of himself with him, in the form of the people he loved and who loved him. He felt a sense of peace wash over him, knowing that Dean was happy and at peace and that he was not alone in his grief.
Sam and Jessica spent the rest of the afternoon talking and catching up on old times. It was a tearful yet joyous reunion, and Sam felt grateful to have a piece of his past back in his life. As they said goodbye, he knew that this was just the beginning of a new chapter in his life, one filled with hope and love, and the memories of those he had lost but would never forget.
Author's Note: Supernatural did above and beyond with what they could do with the Finale due to The Pandemic but I felt that Sammy deserved an honest-to-goodness happy ending you know? Given that we weren't shown who Sam settled down with it gave me an opportunity to have some fun.
Plus it's a big FU to Azazel
Even in the after life Dean looks out for his little bro
