Trigger Warning: Implied sexual assault
Once upon a time, in the multiverse, there was a boy named Morty. He lived with his family, including his grandfather Rick, who was a brilliant scientist and inventor. One day, while on an adventure with Rick, they stumbled upon a strange and dangerous creature known as King Jellybean. The creature attacked Morty, leaving him severely injured and traumatized.
After they returned home, Rick could see that Morty was still shaken up by the attack. He knew he had to do something to comfort his grandson.
"Morty, are you okay?" Rick asked as he sat down next to him on the couch.
Morty just stared blankly ahead, not responding.
"I know that was a scary experience, but you're safe now. I won't let anything happen to you," Rick reassured him.
Morty still didn't say anything, but Rick could see a flicker of understanding in his eyes. He put his arm around Morty's shoulder and pulled him closer.
"It's okay to be scared, Morty. But you're strong, and you'll get through this. I'm here for you," Rick said.
Morty finally spoke, "I-I don't know if I can do this, Rick. I don't want to go on any more adventures with you."
"I understand, Morty. And I won't force you to do anything you don't want to do," Rick said. "But I do want you to know that I'll always be here to support you, no matter what. We can take it slow and only do the adventures that you're comfortable with. Okay?"
Morty nodded and leaned into Rick's embrace. "Thanks, Rick," he said.
"No problem, Morty. I love you, buddy," Rick replied.
From that day on, Morty slowly began to heal. He and Rick went on more adventures, but they made sure to take it slow and only do the ones that Morty felt comfortable with. And through it all, Rick was always there to support and comfort him.
Author's Note: Some may find this story a little out of character for Rick but I'd prefer a universe where Rick actually gave a damn about his grandson.
